Facebook To Launch New Apps- Facebook, the social media giant and the tech master is all set to launch a new newsreader and calendar app. ‘The Paper’ can be looked at as a magazine, a newspaper, a content platform or just a fancy-looking newsfeed. Seeing the various mobile apps succeed, Facebook is looking forward to work on more stand alone apps like its messenger which has done well in the social media market.

Medium, the Platform raises $25 million- Efforts of the co-founder of Twitter, Ev Williams, finally pay off. Medium, finally gets investors interested in taking the blogging website ahead and working towards making it a better platform. According to reports, Greylock Partners, the main investors have two people appointed who shall work with the board and take Medium to exceeding heights.

Limits Loosened on Tech Companies- NSA has supposedly reduced the number of orders laid and orders have been given to remove some regulations that were made for internet and phone companies. A more transparent approach will be practiced between the US government and the top tech companies like Google, Facebook etc.

Facebook is hiring for a secret project- Facebook was secretly hiring editors for its new app, ‘The paper’ which is to launch soon enough in the first week of February 2014. Google Acquires DeepMind- Acquisitions are a part of social media’s daily curriculum. Google lately acquired DeepMind, an artificial intelligence firm for about $400 million. This step can help Google in becoming the world leaders in artificial intelligence. The acquisition was confirmed by Larry Page, CEO Google.
