Some thoughts on ASEAN‐Japan Cooperation Projects

• Opening up an ASEAN‐Japan Ethical Marketplace for socially‐conscious goods

• Investment in STEM (science, technology, engeneering and math) education in ASEAN especially focused on agri‐technology through scholarships and internships in Japanese companies

• We have natural resources but we need knowledge to optimize our resources sustainably

Some thoughts on ASEAN‐Japan Cooperation Projects

• Helping raise manufacturing quality standards in the Philippines to meet global standards again through education & mentorship

• More P2P or people to people trade initiatives such as the Altertrade’s export of organic bananas to Japan

A year-long campaign to raise funds to build a village for 100 families displaced by Typhoon Yolanda
