Mark 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”Jesus goes one step further: Matthew 5:43-48 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven.What does the Golden Rule Say? So, what does love look like?

Love is patient, is a decision to move at someone else’s pace Love is kind – is the decision to leverage ones strength on behalf of another It does not envy, Love does not boast It is not proud _ toxic trio expressed by sarcasm, criticism and public disrespect

It does not dishonor others Love is not self-seeking - putting others interest before my ownLove is not easily angered - provoked or stirred Love keeps no record of wrongs  

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love choses to see the best and believe the best while choosing to overlook the rest. Love is hopeful, love looks for the good. Love always protects Always trusts Always hopes - love chooses to be blind, love chooses to

We ask that you take a minute and pray for the families of the Hunter Carter, Kirslyn Richardson, Charner Inabinet, Bruce Blair; the survivor, Sergio McDowell, the fireman, and the police from the wreck that happened out in front of our

church last Sunday. It was a tragic event. We have paper down front available to write notes to the families if you would like.

We will be putting them in cards and sending them to the families this week.
