History

Vision

Raw Material

Sonish Starch Technology Co., Ltd. (SNST) had been found since August 2, 1995 with registered capital 50 million Baht, at that time we were joint venture between Thai-Japanese investors. SNST core business was modified tapioca starch producer as capacity 28,000 metric ton per year.

11 years later, SNST had restructuring company shareholder along with increasing registered capital to 148 million Baht and had been native tapioca starch production line capacity to 36,000 metric ton per year for commercial. Since, 2012 SNST has been exercised BOI promotion privileges that was leading us to increase producti on capacity on modified starch to 20,000 metric ton per year. However, currently SNST’s maximum capacity is 48,000 metric ton per year for a purpose to gain more market share in food & industrial application

SNST has been set up a sustainable program to

acknowledge rightly growth technique & other informa-

tion may concern to supplier in order to make sure that

every each fresh tapioca root will maintain good starch

content & provide stable quality of tapioca starch.

Nowadays, SNST has an alliance as 3,000 raw material farmers suppliers who possessed 128 million square meter of tapioca field. Hence, we could quarantine continuous supply-chain of raw material for entire year. Precisely, from time to time

SNST’s native & modified starch have been produced and

controled entire process with high technology. We have

separately laboratory for both industrial & food grade starch

with monitoring quality controller team for each step of

process & item that might be concern to the final product,

hence our tapioca Starch would gave a high quality according

to client inquiry & suitable to their utilization.

SNST always concern in our product quality & standard that we set it up as priority duty in good management policy. We do acquired highly realizable professional team with good facility support to control production process along with research & development team to matching our product with client utilization. SNST quarantine our product via quality control management program, from raw material to finished product that we have been delivery to client with good management of supply-chain.

Starch

Acetylated starches are distinguishable through high levels of shear strength. They are particularly stable against heatand acids and form flexible,water-soluble films.

Crosslinking protects against high shear, acid processing and prolonged heating. It depends on the food or other use, processing conditions and the cost of the modified starch
