PREPARATIONPrepare the stain mix. Use a 1:1 ratio of Staining & An-tiquing Medium and Raw Umber. Mix enough to stain the entire front. I like to stain the back as well, but not necessary. Apply as per the directions on the bottle, or until you get the depth of colour you want.

Sand entire piece until smooth. Wipe clean and with the 1" wash, apply the stain mix to the entire surface.

Trace the ground line. Using the #20, fl oat in Snow White, working down to create mounds. Trace snow-men, tree, star and snowfl ake. Your piece is now ready to paint!

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONSSnowmenStipple bodies with Buttermilk using the #8 Blending brush, repeat with Light Buttermilk, then Snow White and fi nally Cool White. Keeping care to not complete-ly cover the previous layer of colour.

TreePaint the trunk in Light Cinnamon with the #3 round, and switching over to the 10/0 for the top, and the branches. Shade the left side with Soft Black using the #6, and highlight the right side with Fawn. Use the 10/0 for the needles, start with Plantation Pine, then add some in Light Avocado, Jade and a few in Blue Mist.

Trace the hat, scarf, noses and tree ornaments
