Great thanks to golf tournament chair,Alumnus Harold Bonner and our 3 hostchapters (PV Athletic, PV Local andHempstead) of the 43rd Annual AlumniConvention. Due to their success the NAAAnnual Scholarship Fund netted $5,000 forfreshman (2017) and current students(2017) that meet the criteria for a scholarshipaward. The Washington D.C. AlumniChapter is putting the finishingtouches on their Summer InternshipProgram at our nation's capitol. Thealumni chapter is In partnership withCongressman and PV AlumnusEmanuel Cleaver II ('72), the PVAMFoundation, Texas A&M and thePolitical Science Department at PVUto complete the project. The PoliticalScience Department will select 2 - 3students to be granted internships.Thanks to the PVAM Foundationand TA&M, students will be housedin the city of Alexandria. These arenon-paying internships and studentstipends will be supplemented by theWashington D.C.
