GREDOR - Gestion des Réseaux Electriques de Distribution Ouverts aux Renouvelables

Main GREDOR aims

Study investment planning, operational planning and real-time control strategies from a functional perspective - what do we want to aid? - from a computational perspective - how do we optimise the decisions? - and from an organisational perspective - how do system actors interact?

We build IT tools to do so. These tools plugged into a simulation framework provide quantified recommendations for system evolution.

Questions •What to publish, who to?•is base case actual system or with foreseen investment?

Goals:•estimate & communicate capacity of network through a set of indicators•incentivise connections in good locations from network’s perspective•incentivise flexibility service in good locations

Available controls:•reconfiguration•flexibility contracts•storage•regulation devices

Goals:•take preventive actions to have the system in a

secure state in real time, •with sufficient controls to maintain it there in RT• Trade off preventive versus corrective actions.

ANM Benchmark. In order to promote the development of computational techniques

for Active Network Management (ANM), we propose a test

instance of a generic ANM problem. It can be used as a test bed for

comparing existing computational techniques, as well as for

developing new ones.
