Active Control Systems

Active Vibration Control systems

Active Noise Control systems(incl. Active Structural Acoustic Control)

Structural Health Monitoring(Passive and/or Active)

Active Flow Control

Active Signal Acquisition - Frequency Analysis - System ExcitationData Acquisition Parameters Set-up [User-defined] • Acquisition of the ‘Primary’ field • Identification of the characteristics of the Primary field • Structure excitation with Control signals (e.g., “anti-vibration”, “anti-noise”, etc signals relevant to application) relevant to the Primary’ field (randomized) • Acquisition of ‘Residual’ vibration fields per each instance (result of Primary + Secondary fields interaction) • Residual vibration fields sensor data saved for use as exemplar patterns

Artificial Intelligence–based Model GenerationAn Artificial Intelligence-based model is created to provide an accurate model of the, e.g., vibration signature/response, of the target application area • The A.I.-based model is created (Sensor/Actuator Network transfer path functions included) thru utilisation of the ‘Primary field response’ data + all “Residual field response” data that have been acquired at the various sensor locations • The completed A.I.-based model is then ready to be used in the next to final step

Evolutionary Computation-based Active System Controller GenerationA EAs-based Controller for, e.g., an active vibration control system, is generated • Utilizing the A.I.-based model, the EA–based controller determines the optimal parameters / “anti-vibration” control signals to be applied by the actuators, to achieve the maximum possible reduction of the primary vibration field.
