    The project, "SM elearning:

    Was a Leonardo da Vinci programme for vocational

    training led by GIPFAR (France) and co-coordinated by

    Fons Formaci Zona Mediterrnia.

    Was developed over the years 2005-2007 and includes

    the participation of training centres and SMEs in Spain,Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Ireland, and Norway.

    The main project aims were:

    To offer reference points and tools to clarify new technological

    possibilities and their advantages to training centres and industrial

    SMEs.To propose new methods, services and contents adapted to new

    working environments.

    The main project phases aimed to:

    1 Identifylocal training problems related to the use of ICT in industrial

    SMEs.

    2 StudyICT based training setups in relation to the needs of SMEs (using acommon methodology) and to disseminate the conclusions reached from

    the examples studied and the research related to them.

    3 Identify and disseminatestrategic recommendations (good practices) for

    the application of ICT based training in European industrial companies.

    4 Producea guide for the application of innovative ICT based training in the

    industrial sector for training centres and their actors.

    5 Evaluate the training models studied, the methods, the good practices

    and recommendations among the different groups identified.
