Pairing Samsung SecuThru™ Lite authentication software with 3rd party’s grading solution, educators can streamline the test grading process.

Grade tests automatically and with greater securityWhile a remark product helps teachers create answer sheets including multiple-choice answer sheets, Samsung MFP scans the answer sheet, and a partnered Remark program grades the sheets. The educators can choose results to be printed or saved to a server for downloading and analysis at a later time for reviewing the overall average of that specific test for every class.

Use OCR technology to help develop answer sheetsA compatible Samsung MFP prints out the answer sheets once a teacher created a multiple choice answer sheet by using most word processors and a Remark software with, which helps cut down on paper and assists in ensuring readable answers.

Designed to simplify the grading process

Scan answer sheets for automatic gradingWhen students have completed an evaluation, the teacher or teaching assistant scans the answer sheets into a com-patible Samsung MFP.

Samsung SecuThru™ Lite requires user authentication for functions on the MFP on which it is installed. Users swipe an identification (ID) card through a card reader on the MFP or enter a user ID and password into the MFP key pad.

After a user is authenticated, the user can begin scanning answer sheets into the Samsung MFP. The Duplex Auto-matic Document Feeder (DADF) enables teachers to quickly scan multiple answer sheets, helping save time and reduce expenditures. SecuThru™ Lite helps keep test answers and scores protected from other users of the MFP.

After the answer sheets have been scanned, a 3rd party’s grading solution grades the sheets. Answers can be submit-ted two ways to the software:
