The system design of Under deck Compressors offers many advantages you cannot get when using conventional air compressors.

Under deck compressors are built around convenience for the operator. Not only has the need to carry an additional trailer been removed but also the need to carry more fuel as well as avoiding damage and theft to the compressor has been alleviated. Navigating tight job sites is also made simple. Furthermore, you now have the option of towing additional machinery if required.

The nature of the Under deck Compressor design also significantly reduces the impact to the overall payload on the vehicle which provides flexibility for contractors with demanding equipment needs. The under deck compressor is also supported by a host of safety features to ensure the longevity of your compressor is realized.

Advanced design allows you the option of choosing any CFM output up to 185 CFM with just one model. By simply adjusting the engine speed control the compressor will produce up to 185 CFM continuously. Once the PTO is engaged, engine torque and horsepower are transmitted to the air compressor via an appropriately sized tubular drive shaft. The speed control for the compressor modulates according to air demand which offers fuel savings, as well as reduces wear and tear on the vehicle’s engine. When the job is complete simply disengage the PTO and continue to the next job site.

Mobile Energy Australia uses rotary screw compressor technology generating up to 70 cfm and 175 psi of free air delivery. The MEA CAFAID is a device that has been developed to provide a supremeCompressed Air Foam (CAF) capability for fire and land management agencies using their traditional pump sets and fire fighting appliance configurations. Traditional off the shelf CAF systems are generally purpose built and tailored to each applications with CAF being the main consideration in these designs, pump performance specifically volume and pressure have limitations of use outside CAF. This MEA CAFAID allows the agency to very easily enhance their established configurations (existing vehicles) with CAF by simply fitting the MEA CAFAID to nominated deliveries where CAF is required and plumbing air to the device at a predetermined pressure and volume. The benefit of the MEA CAFAID is that agencies can maintain their traditional performance for established tactics, but deliver CAF as an enhancement to there capability without compromising their traditional tactics when required.

The MEA CAFAID is simplistic by nature and dose not require auto sync functions like the traditional CAF systems and has engineered out all the problematic and sensitive hardware. Air is simply brought into the MEA CAFAID at a consistent pressure and volume whereby the air is injected into the foam solution mix, as it flows through the purpose designed chamber. The arrangement of the MEA CAFAID creates very efficient mixing of the foam solution mix which is pre disrupted creating turbulence prior to air injection to create an even CAF consistency with further diffusing at the discharge point of the device, thereby requiring no minimum run off to promote scrubbing to finish the CAF like other systems. (scrubbing is done within the device).

Slug flow is also reduced due to the nature of the design of our device. The MEA CAFAID has the ability to precisely finish the CAF product through the full range of wet to dry, and exhibits exceptional characteristics with slow drain times and high energy effective finished product for application across a range of fuels for both suppression and protection. The finished product is defined by the volume of solution that is presented to the MEA CAFAID for aspiration. Our goal was to create one of the world's most compact, versatile, simple and effective firefighting packages utilizing traditional capabilities of water, water/foam, NAFS and now CAFS. It demands world-class engineering ingenuity coupled with breakthrough technology to get it right. In other words, it takes Mobile Energy Australia and the combination of their Patented Compressed Air Foam Air Injection Device (CAFAID) and ABS (Automatic Balancing System). The SNUFIT 200/40 is a first response attack system designed for light to medium vehicles, it is capable of delivering traditional water or water/foam. NAFS with flows of up to 420lpm at 7bar and 800lpm transfer flow, or CAFS with water flows from 80lpm to 275lpm with air pressure up to 10bar at 40cfm.

The SNUFIT's 40 CFM encapsulated air compressor is directly driven from the front of the engine. A pneumatic modulating inlet valve mounted on the air end inlet shall control the compressor; MEA's ABS (Automatic Balancing System) is also available to automatically maintain the air pressure in relation to the water pump pressure throughout the operation of the CAFS operating range. The 420lpm @ 7bar water pump is directly mounted to the flywheel end of the engine, thus creating this unique compact in-line design.

Our goal was to create one of the world's most compact, versatile, simple and effective firefighting packages utilizing traditional capabilities of water, water/foam, NAFS and now CAFS. It demands world-class engineering ingenuity coupled with breakthrough technology to get it right. In other words, it takes Mobile Energy Australia and the combination of their Patented Compressed Air Foam Air Injection Device (CAFAID) and ABS (Automatic Balancing System). The SNUFIT 90/35 is a first response attack system designed ultra light for vehicles, it is capable of delivering traditional water or water/foam. NAFS with flows of up to 180lpm at 7bar and 220lpm transfer flow, or CAFS with water flows from 30lpm to 150lpm with air pressure up to 8bar at 35cfm.

The SNUFIT's 35 CFM encapsulated air compressor is belt driven from the front of the engine. A pneumatic modulating inlet valve mounted on the air end inlet shall control the compressor; MEA's ABS (Automatic Balancing System) is also available to automatically maintain the air pressure in relation to the water pump pressure throughout the operation of the CAFS operating range. The 180lpm @ 7bar water pump is directly shaft mounted to the engine, thus creating this unique compact in-line design.

The SNUFIT is fitted or (loose supplied) with the patented CAFAID (Compressed Air Foam Air Injection Device) this device has been developed to provide supreme Compressed Air Foam (CAF) capability for fire and land management agencies, using traditional pump sets and firefighting appliance configurations. Traditional off the shelf CAFS are generally purpose built and tailored to each application with CAF being the main consideration in these designs. Pump performance, specifically volume and pressure have limitations of use outside CAF. The MEA CAFAID has allowed MEA to very easily enhance the traditional configurations of water, water/foam, NAF, with CAF by simply fitting the MEA CAFAID to nominated deliveries where CAF is required and plumbing air to the device at the pre-determined pressure and volume.
