This application enables data synchronization between bMobileSALES and
Cougar Mountain Software Support.
bMobileCONTROLLER resides on the mobile computer or Pocket PC and
provides the communication conduit between the mobile application,
bMobileSALES, and the back-office accounting system of Cougar Mountain.
This tool selects the appropriate files within both systems from which data is to
be exchanged. Once the data from bMobileSALES has been supplied to
Cougar Mountain, the files within bMobileSALES are automatically refreshed

There is a distinctive difference between the terms “mobile” and “wireless”

tablet PCs, data collectors and Pocket PCs, do not require wireless access in
order to be functional. Retail data collection and route accounting can still be a

Installation happens automatically when you install V10 or better
To activate this feature, you need to go to Order Entry> Options> Codes> Order Guide> Run Utility
To keep the file updated, rerun the file daily/weekly/monthly as needed
To optimize this feature, staff should be trained to manually add items that a customer inquires about and any item that the staff feels that the customer might be interested in.

Re-indexing is almost always a first step
If a record locking error occurs, use UTICMS to delete any blank records
If problems still exist, use dbFix & FileFix to rebuild the file
If the problem remains, it might be desirable to use UTICMS to zap the file and recreate.
