Across approximately 30 developments, there are starchitect- designed buildings and apartments in some of the city's most anticipated megaprojects , along with under-the-radar outer- borough projects and "affordable" apartments . Developments are listed geographically, starting at Manhattan’s southern tip and continuing north, then through the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey. 29. One Prospect Park West 1 Prospect Park West Brooklyn, NY 11215 Luxury real estate is in the future for the prized northwest corner of Prospect Park: The former home of the Prospect Park Residence nursing home is on its way to becoming 63 condos, designed by Workstead (the firm behind Hudson’s chic Rivertown Lodge, among other hotels), with prices starting at just under $2 million. It’s the latest development in a long , complicated saga that ended when the previous owner, Haysha Deitsch, sold the property to Sugar Hill Capital Partners in 2016. (Deitsch settled with five holdout residents of the nursing home in 2016.) Soon, the building will have two- to four- bedroom apartments (with more than 40 floorplans, per the developers). Amenities will include a “private curated art gallery, residents’ club with spa-like features, and an expansive rooftop meadow designed by ODA New York.”
