First I adjusted the size of the image to an appropriate size for the magazine using the

transform tool, while holding cmd on the computer to ensure it adjusted the image at the same width on each side to avoid distortion of

the image.

Secondly once the image was the right size I clicked the crop tool and adjusted it to the area which I wanted to be left. Then pressing enter

to confirm the adjustment.

Then using the Move tool I dragged it onto the magazine front cover and placed it at the

bottom half in the corner. To get the barcode in a specific position I used the arrow keys to get

a more precise movement.
