SITECORE EXPERIENCE PLATFORM

Sitecore Experience Platform (Sitecore XP) is the name of the entire Sitecore solution. It includes:

• Sitecore CMS – the content management capabilities

• Sitecore xDB – the experience marketing and scalability, and analytics features

• The logged-in user is now displayed at the top-right of the desktop

• The logout command is now displayed at the top-right of the desktop

• Shortcuts for tools can still be dragged from the menu to the desktop

reports and scores.

Page tests are distinct from content tests

because they test complete pages. The

tested pages can be different versions of the

same page or dissimilar pages.

The Experience Optimization dashboard

shows a number of key performance

indicators.

• The standard actions for authors remain largely the same

• The XP8 focus is on customer experience management• Engagement Analytics is now Experience Analytics

• Most of the new tools & functionality are related to improving

the visitor experience and create customers
