This wine comes from a small vineyard parcel planted to the famous Cabernet Clone 4. The synergy between clone and vineyard site yields an elegant Cabernet that may be the most Bordeaux-like wine in our portfolio. wild boar Cabernet Sauvignon Our Wild Boar Cabernet comes from a single hillside block in Pope Valley that reaches 1200 feet of elevation. With afternoon breezes that moderate the warm temperatures, this is proven ground for Cabernet. In keeping with the untamed character of this remote growing region in which native boars still roam, we’ve named this robust, highly-concentrated wine Wild Boar.
