Kayla Martin is asking the church to be participate in your daily prayer for her and her church team ‘HINENI 2013’ will travel to Donnelly, Idaho on from June 18 to July 2. ‘HINENI’ is a Hebrew word ‘Here I am’. It is in Isaiah 6:8 quotes ‘Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying “Whom shall I send, and who will go for US?” Then I said, ‘Here I am, send me’. Using the Hineni 2013 prayer brochure. #23 SERMON NOTE 2013:

“Let us press on to know Him”

(Hosea 6:3) (v. 3) “Let’s recognize Him as the Lord. Let’s keep trying to really know Him. You can be sure the sun will rise. And you can be just as sure the Lord will appear. He will come to renew us like the winter rains. He will be like the spring rains that water the earth.” (NIRV)

(v. 3) ‘So let’s know Him’ let’s strive to know the Eternal. As surely as the sun rises, He’ll come out from His lair [hidden place]. As surely as the rains come each year—those spring rains that drench the earth—He’ll come back to us.’ (VOC)

1. Let us look at those words ‘press on’ has several meaning like ‘follow on to know’, ‘pursue to know’, ‘ready to study God’, ‘try to learn about’, ‘strive to know’, ‘know-recognize-be acquainted with-understand Him’, ‘do our best to know the Lord’, ‘endeavor ourselves to know the Lord’, chase to know Him, and ‘to run after Him’.

2. The people pressed upon Him to _______________ the Word of God. (Luke 5:1)

“It is only a step to Jesus.”

3. Jesus entered one of the boats…asked him (Peter) that he would thrust [to push off] out a little [distance] from the ________________ and He sat down and taught the people out of the boat. (Luke 5:3)

The ‘watch’ represents God-given responsibilities. God would watch over your ‘watch’ (responsibilities) if you would make ‘watching Him’ your only responsibility. It was God’s invitation for you to become ______________________--_____________________. Luke 5:17 says, “The power of the Lord was present to heal them.”

9. When Jesus had finished speaking God’s Word to the people, He said to Peter, “Now go out where it is __________________ and let down your nets, and you will catch many fish.” (Luke 5:4 NLT)

Psalms 107:24 GW quotes: “They have seen what the Lord can do, the miracles He performed in the depths of the sea.” or “They, too, observed the Lord’s power in action, His impressive works on the deepest seas.” (NLT)

10. ONE THING—HIS PRESENCE:

What do I do with His presence? What place does the manifest Presence of God have with

how I think and live? Does the Presence of God affect the vision and focus my

life? What is the impact of the one thing [His presence] on my

behavior?

“The inner working of the power of God must come first. It

is He who changes the heart and transforms the life. Before

there is any real outward evidence, there must be the

inflow of DIVINE LIFE.”
