Since the molecules materials are loosely arranged, they are bad resistant of moisture and water

The recycled paper holds very light weight. So they absorb the moisture at faster rate.

Cost wise it is average but comparatively, it is higher than fiber glass insulation.

As the atoms in the fiberglass are loose, the moisture content can easily enter space between roof and the insulation which in turn makes the material weak within short duration.

Dumping of more stuffs in one place also leads to major problem.

Moderate amount of insulation should be used.

More insulation will not provide way for the rodents and noise from entering but the lacks in ventilation, which some time causes serious threat

Pitfalls of foam insulation

The main disadvantage is usage of light weight materials

When installing, the foam flies and get catch up with the metal body around, which then causes additional cleaning work

Cost wise it is more expensive than other two types.

As the spray foam insulation is the advanced method and the materials used here are expensive, the whole process becomes more expensive than any other types.

The look of the house get spoilt with spray foam technique. So people have to choose some alternative ailment in hiding such look.

That makes the process even more expensive.
