The current Boyd E. Smith and Seipelt Elementary will close their doors after the end of the school year as they prepare to move to their new school buildings over the summer. The following dates have been set for open houses for the community: Boyd E. Smith Open House Thursday, April 7 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Charles L. Seipelt Open House Sunday, May 1 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Milford Main, which has been vacant since last summer, will be taken down in March. Recently, a time capsule from 1951 was discovered in a cornerstone. The contents of the time capsule include a list of signatures from students who attended Main at that time. Many of these former students still live in the area and will be invited to the Main memorial event. The event is open to the entire community and will include a brief program and refreshments. Highlighted Students of

The Week!Wyatt Neal, from Mrs. Loeffler's class, just earned a solo with the Cincinnati Boychoir. He will be performing on their upcoming nursing home bus tour around the city along with participating in the Spring Showcase: The World we Travel on April 24 . "This is my first time for a solo!"

Emily Opp, from Mrs. Baker's class, has a cat named Annie. "I like to cuddle with her and I fill up her bowl when it is empty," Emily shares.

Mrs. Wickert's student, James Stevens, says he has been to Canada on vacation. His family visited Niagra Falls.

"I like to spend time with my dad and go places with him,' shares Brock Sharpe from Mrs. Wickert's class. "I also like to eat with my baby brother. He is two."

Yasir Khan, from Mrs. Sullivan's class, likes trains! It is one of his biggest hobbies. He has ridden on a real train, gone to see lots of train displays and even gotten to see old retired trains like the Union Pacific Big Boys and 4409. There where only thirty of these trains ever made!

Mrs. Caldwell's student, Aiden Brehm, has a lot of favorite sports but football is the on he likes the most. He loves the Seattle Seahawks. He enjoys playing sports with his friends as much as he can. He also has five dogs and three cats!

Quintin Cox, from Ms. Jones' class, plays piano a lot. He started last year and it is one of his favorite things to do!

Ethan Sprague, from Mrs. Mersh's class, enjoys listening to cello music and would like to play it some day! "I also like exploring in the woods with my friends!"
