Hi my name is Sherrale Rhines

and I am interested in becoming

2013- 2014 , VP of membership. I

am a fourth year student and I

have been a member of NRHH since 2010. NRHH is very dear to my heart, specifically,

because of the recognition given to those who have worked hard. As a former RA I

understand the hard work that goes into the job by creating successful programs, and

support system to residents. NRHH is here to help promote the recognition of your efforts

to the outside communities. I have a real passion for NRHH, I started out a NRHH

member as a resident and soon became a RA and eventually made my way onto the

NRHH board as recognition chair. My experience went really well because I had a

dedicated and passionate board.

My experience in NRHH consists of the years I have been in NRHH and the

position I have held on E-board and the work put in as a regular member. I know how to

write OTMs. I understand the hard work it takes to be on the E-board. We have weekly

E-board meetings, and bi weekly membership meetings. The E-board I present to guide

to members into presenting NRHH in a positive light to the outside looking and

promoting the good that we bring to the campus.

My goals as the VP of member ship is to recruit dedicated members and most

importantly giving a clear idea of the responsibilities that a member may have, so they

are aware of the commitment. In addition explaining what we do as an organization and

how that applies to the housing community. Also, plan at least one program for VP of

membership so all members Current and past can meet each other.
