Rebar threading

Threading is achieved following cold upsetting of therebar ends to increase the nominal diameter.

Threading by rolling maintains the steel fibres,which ensure the coupler has excellent resistance.

Rebar resistance is therefore not affected by thethreading operation.

Installation Inspection

Step 1:1stphase installation

X The cap is correctly in place on the coupler.

1stphase concretingStep 2:put 2ndphase rebar in position

Step 3:screw on 2ndphase rebar

Step 4:locking the liaison

X For dia. 25 and greater: L 0.80 m.

At this stage of assembly the Firsty rebar coupler guarantees the safety of the liaison.
