The BaysSharm has become one of the top globaldestinations for snorkellers and diversthanks to its beautiful and diverse sea life,and its sandy beaches have become verypopular with holidaymakers.

Naama Bay is by far the most popular ofthem, and its long, sandy beach is afavourite among swimmers and sunbathers. It is buzzing with life thanks to itsmany restaurants and shops. Come here totry out the Bungee catapult or take uphorse riding sessions.

If you prefer it more quiet, spend a day atNabq Bay, which is situated outside of themain tourist area. Or spend a day onSharks’ Bay, about a 20 minute taxi ridefrom Naama Bay.

Ras Um Sid, located west of Naama, isgreat for snorkelling. Situated about fiveminutes drive from Sharm, it is famous forits stunning coral reefs and boasts animpressive cliff.

Old TownThe Old Town of Sharm was developed asrecently as the 1960s. As it isn’t part of theregion’s major tourist areas, this is thewhere many of the locals live, and it willgive you a feeling of Egyptian culture. ItsOld Market is popular with bargain hunters,as goods here are generally cheaper thanin the tourist centres such as Naama Bay.The beach here is rather small, but stillworth a visit.
