Her commentary is discriminating and helpful. Those who have supposed that Shakespeare is a non-religious poet, whose references to religion and the Bible are few and doubtful, will be greatly enlightened by this glimpse of the true wealth of his many-sided nature. Miss Wadsworth's publishers have given the essay a form worthy of its content.
