• 1997/98 - SFX research work at Ghent University begins

• February 2000 – Ex Libris acquires SFX technology

• November 2000 – OpenURL to NISO• March 2001 – SFX product launch• June 2002 (ALA) – 200 customers in 17

countries• July 2002 – Active international user group
