What is sex trafficking??

Sex trafficking is a form of modern slavery that not only happens in other countries, but also in the United States. Sex trafficking is the recruitment, transportation, or harboring of persons through threat, use of force, or other coercion for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

What about those pimps.

The biggest marketing tool that pimps use is media. They are glamorized on TV shows, movies, and music videos. Pimps use the weaknesses of their victims and prey on that.

The Polaris Project did the math on how much a pimp makes a year and its outrageous! At the end of the year, a pimp can make around $300,000 tax free, since this job is kept under the table.

FBI

The FBI is becoming more and more involved with this operation to help stop it. They do undercover sting operations, and they train for what to do when they encounter a situation.

Love 146 is working to prevent child trafficking

This group takes care of the survivors, educate the victims and society, and train professionals

Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is one of the largest human trafficking ring in the US

Many of the pimps and victims go unnoticed because there are so many people there

Many cops and FBI agents go undercover at this event and try and catch the people involved

This past Super Bowl, XLIX, there were at least 570 Johns buying the women and 23 pimps
