Research focus: Rio de Janeiro

Project: design better ways to serve the elderly seeking better quality of life and well being.

Initial method: survey data on existing public and private services in Rio de Janeiro focusing on the elderly. Proposal: Service innovation and redesign.

Design role: • develop services to enable elderly to autonomously manage its own condition and care;• ensure the maintenance of the elderly in its home and local community (deinstitutionalization);
