FFA Trap Team
TRAPA competitive sport of shooting clay pigeons that
originated in the 18th century that promotes individualism as well as team building.
A round of trap consists of 25 shots, with five shots being taken from 5 different
shooting positions. The shooters take turns shooting such that the first shooter will
shoot one shot, then the second shooter takes their shot, etc. until all 5 shooters
have taken 5 shots from a given shooting position. The shooters then rotate to the
next shooting position and repeat the process.
Average cost per season
• 100 shots per team member per practice
• 25 shots= $8.50
• $34 per member per practice
• 10 kids on the team on average
• $340 each practice
• 25 weeks = $8500
