Q. What are the regulations for hunting turkeys with a bow?A. Basically, the same as hunting turkeys with a legal firearm. There

is no special early archery season for turkeys as there is with

big game animals and no special archery permit is required.

Also, there is no specific bow draw weight and no broadhead

requirement. The regulation simply states that game birds may

be taken with archery equipment

Q. Can I use my .22 handgun to hunt blue grouse? A. Yes you can. Wyoming regulation provides that blue and ruffed

grouse can be taken with a number of weapons including

handguns and rifles. Wyoming’s other grouse species, sage

and sharp-tailed grouse, may only be taken with shotguns and

archery equipment.
