Altar Guild - There will be a brief meeting of Altar Guild Committee immediately after worship service on September 25th.

Women’s Fellowship Sept. meeting is Tuesday night, Sept 27th  at Copperfields in Limerick at 6pm. Secret pal reveal , pick new Pals, meeting and lots of good food and fellowship. Sign up on bulletin board.also Reminder that the rummage sale is Saturday Oct. 22  8am to 1pm.   Call for Input on 2017 Mission Partners We will soon be putting together proposed budget and plans for 2017, and are requesting your suggestions for next year's Mission Partners. For 2016 we have 4 Mission Partners: Project Outreach, Ministries at Main Street, Pottstown Cluster, and Ponca Creek UCC. Do you have an idea for a mission to add or think it's time to let one of these go? Please share your thoughts with a member of the missions committee: Phil Levering, Kristen Serina, Diane Savitsky, Sandy Koenig, Pam Marino, or Jay Smith. Project Outreach- Save the dates - October 13, 2016All are welcome to come and help package and distribute bags from 9am to 12pm on our scheduled dates at the Royersford Food Pantry, 4th and Washington Streets.

Quiet Days on Various Dates in East Greenville

2016 Dates: OCT 4, NOV 1, DEC 6 Quiet Days are held at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road in East Greenville, PA 18041. They are designed to open new avenues of communing with God, and to provide an opportunity for sharing faith journeys and stories. They allow for Sabbath time and renewal in the midst of our busy world. There is no formal registration, but a minimum donation of $5 is requested on Quiet Day. Each participant is asked to bring a Bible, journal, pen and a bag lunch. Come and see what God has in store for you!

The violin, piano, and especially the voice are amongst the three most popular ‘instruments’ of all time – yet have scarcely been featured together as one. Until now. illumine: Defined is just that: a stunning elucidation of our versatile instrumentation as a chamber ensemble. Experience music sung in five different languages, an original composition, and a piece completely improvised on the spot based on your ideas.

October 2 – Blessing of the Animals @ Shenkel UCC, Pottstown

All, and the animals they love, are invited to this special service in Shenkel United Church of Christ’s Grove at 2 PM on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Shenkel is located at 1580 Shenkel Road in Pottstown, PA. All animals must be on a leash or lead or in a secure pen at all times. If you are not able to bring an animal, you are welcome to bring a photograph of your pet or of an endangered species to be blessed. Anyone who has an interest in Christian Education is welcome to gather on Sunday October 3, 2016 at UCC Christ Church, 1003 W Marshall St., Norristown , PA 19401-4218, 3-5 pm, for fellowship and support. On the agenda is discussion of best practices along with ideas for your ministry for Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas. Each participant is requested to bring Thanksgiving, Advent, and/or Christmas ideas, suggestions, pageants, plays, curriculum, etc., to share with others.
