Return of School Technology or Textbooks

Students who have school learning equipment, such as technology or textbooks from the

2020-2021 school year are asked to return them to the school as soon as possible.

All staff and students who are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 as identified in thescreening tool (not related to a COVID-19 vaccine), must not attend school or work and follow theguidance in the Ontario COVID-19 School and Child Care Screening Tool, which may include seekingappropriate medical attention as required, and/or getting tested for COVID-19.

Permitted Visitors to the Building● Before entry, visitors must review and adhere to the instructions on the COVID-19 School andChild-Care Screening Tool posted at all exterior doors.● All visitors who are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 as identified in thescreening tool (not related to a COVID-19 vaccine), must not enter any school and follow theguidance in the screening tool, which may include seeking appropriate medical attention asrequired, and/or getting tested for COVID-19.● Screening Confirmation Is required by all visitors to the school. Sign in at the office andcomplete the visitor sign-in process with the main office staff member, which will include respondingto the question “Have you completed the self-screening assessment?”● Visitors to a school are required to wear a medical mask (for example, surgical/procedural)while on school premises, maintain a two-metre physical distance as they move about the building,and sanitize their hands. A medical mask will be provided by the school if needed. For moreinformation about how to use face masks properly, see the fact sheet from York Region publichealth.● Visitor(s) are not to enter the school during hours of operation unless identified through aprearranged exception. It is expected that parents/guardians first contact the school by telephone ifassistance is required.● As usual, all permitted visitors must confirm their arrival at the main office.

Food and Item Drop-Offs

● Until further notice, lunch drop-offs will not be available, including access to lunch deliveryservices. Families should ensure that snacks and lunch are provided. Please send sufficient food foryour child at the beginning of the day.
