SELCUK UNIVERSITY SPORTS CLUB Selcuk University Sports Club, which has basketball, volleyball, riding, swimming,

chess, athletics, boxing, gymnastics, wrestling, folk dances, handball, judo, karate, table

tennis, indoor soccer, fencing, badminton, taekwondo and American Soccer teams

competing in professional and amateur leagues, sets the world on fire in various national

and international competitions. In particular, Selcuk University Basketball Team, which

represents both the university and Konya in Basketball Second League successfully, is a

university team having the most fans and the source of pride not only for the university but

also Konya since it arouses great excitement in every match.

In addition, sports fests such as Streetball, Voleyball, Football or Futsal and various

activities are regularly organized in our university to avoid bad habits, provide solidarity

and create friendships by getting involved in sportive activities for the student’s

psychological and physical health and to strengthen friendship and solidarity between

academic and administrative staff every year.

The intercollegiate competitions such as association football, girls’ futsal, basketball,

and American football are organized by the University Sports Federation in cooperation

with the University Sports Federation and our university.
