LazarusDithagisoVEREENIGING. - The African NationalCongress (ANC) Sedibeng reshufflingstorm is finally over. Following weeks ofreports and denials about this, the reshuf-fling process took place on Tuesday after-noon.
The pain, sweat, sadness and joy wereall over the faces of Sedibeng and Emfu-leni municipal members of the mayoralcommittee. The long-awaited announce-ment was made by ANC Provincial Secre-tary Hope Papo in Vereeniging on Tues-day. Former Sedibeng Executive MayorSimon Mofokeng replaces Gretha Hlong-wane as executive mayor of Emfuleni Lo-cal Municipality while Hlongwane takes aseat in Sedibeng District Municipality asspeaker. Former Sedibeng District Munic-ipality MMC of Strategic Planning andEconomic Development Moipato Tsokoli-bane will take over as speaker of EmfuleniLocal Municipality while former speakerof Sedibeng District Municipality andmayor of Lesedi Local Municipality BusiModisakeng takes over as executive mayorof Sedibeng District Municipality.
During the media briefing, Papo said theANC undertook oversight visits in all Sedi-beng municipalities including the DA ledMidvaal and that the reshufflings weremade in consultation with provincial offi-
ces in accordance with ANC policies. The mu-nicipalities not affected by the changes are Midvaal and Lesedi Local Municipalities withthe latter being reinforced with an extra mayor-al committee member. Papo said that the aimof bringing Mofokeng to Emfuleni Local Mu-nicipality is to build the ailing municipality inpreparation for next years local elections.
Without Emfuleni there is no Sedibeng. Here we need a person who will be
able to shoulder the administration and fi-nancial crisis. A person who is able to beefup the ranks. The ANC does not owe anyperson a position. We cant go to 2016elections with administration problemsthat are growing, said Papo.

Mduduzi Mathebula VANDERBIJLPARK. - Tension about the hike in university feesbrought the nation to a standstill for a week or two, before PresidentJacob Zuma finally gave in to students demands on Friday.
Social networks became the platform used by students to facilitatetheir way forward.
# Fees must fall went viral on Twitter and Facebook as wellas Instagram. A 0% university increase was at last agreed to byZuma on Friday, which was a defeat for Higher Education MinisterBlade Nzimande, who is not popular with students for making ajoke of the issue by quipping that # students must fall too.
Angry students across the country made their demands clear inreaction to university price hikes. Students of all races from all 9
provinces took part in the protest. The march to ANC headquaters, Luthuli House, by students was
a clear indication that the students meant business. The march to parliament was also a brutally clear suggestion
to those in power that students still have power and constitute themajority.
At the Vaal Campus of North West University (NWU), studentshanded a memorandum of demands to the varsity.
Amongst those in support of the march was man-of-the-cloth, Riv-ers of Living Waters Archbishop Stephen Zondo.
He was handed the microphone by student leader SRC PresidentSydney Madebo after he lambasted the university leadership.
Zondo quoted great icon Nelson Mandela: If the ANC (African National Congress) does what the apartheid
government has done to you, do to the ANC what you did to theapartheid government!
He said more than 20 years of democracy and the nation stillsought justice in education:
Which means our government is failing our education. TheANC has since declared its support for the #Fees must fall campaign.
NWU Vaals Professor Linda Du Plessis received the memoran-dum of demands from the dissatisfied students.
The NWU, Vaal student-protest escalated in and outside the uni-versity premises and the Stallions - a security company - was sum-moned to maintain order. Burning tyres were used to barricade theroad. Shimmy Mokubung, representative of the Economic FreedomFighters, said they are not going to allow the government to toywith them. This is not about political gain but to address the seriousissues experienced by students. This was just one of the ways inwhich students vented their frustration. On Monday the strike re-sumed as the NWU students feel that there is more that needs tobe done and fixed by the University. Across the country universitiesremained closed with students demanding total transformation atmost of these institutions. The protests were sparked at Wits Univer-sity in Johannesburg two weeks ago after the institution announceda 10.5% increase in fees for 2016. The protests spread across thecountry, culminating in Zumas announcement in Pretoria. Mean-while economists report that government can partner with individu-als and large corporates in the private sector in the immediate term, but looking long term there needs to be a plan to figure out therole and status of universities in South Africa.

LeratoSereroSEBOKENG.- Following the closure ofthe Sebokeng Youth Advice Centre atMasoheng, approximately 2 000 youngpeople are forced to sit at home bitingtheir nails.
The centre is expected to serve the yo-uth living in Sebokeng and provide themwith opportunities to empower themsel-ves and thereby contribute to the reducti-on of unemployment in the area, whichaccording to statistics stands at 34.7%with the youth unemployment rate at45%. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster DA Gau-teng spokesperson on Sport, Arts, Cultureand Heritage and member of Gauteng le-gislature, Kingsol Chabalala said that hisparty is calling on Gauteng MEC for coo-perative governance and traditional af-fairs, Jacob Mamabolo to intervene andresolve what he terms a spat between theSedibeng District Municipality and the
Emfuleni Local Municipality, which is res-ponsible for maintaining the centre.
The centre is in a serious state of disre-pair. The ceiling is damaged and has collap-sed, and as a result, furniture is used to holdup parts of it. The centre also currently hasno internet connection and had to close itsdoors recently after the electricity was cutoff, said Chabalala.
He adds that questions to Sedibeng Muni-cipality reveal it to be in a dispute over themaintenance of the property, as it is claimedthat the infrastructure belongs to the Emfule-ni Municipality, while Sedibeng runs opera-tions inside the centre.
While neither Sedibeng nor Emfuleni ha-ve made any effort to maintain the property,it has now fallen into complete disrepair andhas had to shut its doors.
The closest alternative is the BophelongYouth Advice Centre, which is over 20 kmaway.

Earlier this week DA submitted questionsto the Gauteng MEC for Culture, Sports andRecreation, Molebatsi Bopape, to ascertainthe amounts paid, to determine who is res-ponsible for distribution and why they ha-vent been delivered to libraries across theEmfuleni Local Municipality.
At the time of going to print Sedibeng Stercould not get comment on the matter as ANCSedibeng which is the ruling party in Emfu-leni was reshuffling the members of the may-oral committee.
Lerato SereroVEREENIGING.- Section 29 of the Consti-tution guarantees every South African citi-zens right to access to quality education. This seems not to be so for the communityof Emfuleni.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) recentlymade the discovery of thousands of new li-brary books stored at the Vereeniging PublicLibrary.
DA Gauteng Spokesperson on Sport,Arts, Culture and Heritage and member ofGauteng legislature, Kingsol Chabalala saysthat the DA uncovered massive stockpilesof brand new library books, that were supposed to be de-livered to community libra-ries in Emfuleni in 2012, atthe Vereeniging Public Li-brary storage facility.
These books were appa-rently budgeted for and pur-chased in the 2011/12 finan-cial year, yet never reachedtheir destination.
What we witnessed heretoday is a gross injustice andhuman rights violation ofEmfulenis people.
Many residents in thecommunity have written tothe DA complaining aboutthe lack of new books andresources at the public libra-ries.
This poses the question asto why the departmentwould refuse to deliverbooks it already purchased,Chabalala said. He said thathe will request the South Af-rican Human Rights Com-mission (SAHRC) to inves-tigate the series of unfortu-nate events which lead to

I entered the competition because I
want to be a role model to young girls, Iwant to bring change to my community andto SA as whole.

Mbathas main inspiration for entering thecompetition is her late mom who had encou-raged her to enter the competition:
My dream beyond this competition is tograduate, gain experience and then start myown company.
I want to create job opportunities, becau-se there are so many graduates who are

MY ENEMIES CONFESSED. I will never forget you prof.
THANK YOU MAMA SHAKIRASeveral years of unhappiness in marriage lead to loneliness and continuous crying. After hearing testimonials about Professor Muti and Mama Shakira on the radio & in news-papers. My old friends son had been saved from drugs and alcohol abuse by Professor Muti so I vis-ited him!. For only R100 Professor Muti and Mama Shakira read my fortune accurately & told me about my past life, my marriage & in a dish of water with a mirror he showed me the face of my enemies as well as my husbands girlfriends. He performed a special prayer & gave me powerful love crystals a special one to use at my work place & one for my business success. Unbelievable!! In 1 week my enemies approached me & confessed bad things they did to me, my husband left his girlfriend & came back to me. Over the years I have tried healers and priests but they all failed. penis enlargement & magic ring.

While we are building your Savanna City neighbourhood, it is important for parents in the community to educate and keep their children away from the dangers of the construction site.
Give them a FUTURE , keep them SAFE!
Keep them SAFE from falling, drowning, suffocating and other severe injuries.
MduduziMathebulaSEDIBENG. The K9 Unit , the Flying Squad,Kliprivier Police and Mackay CYCC Shelter, donated food and clothes to more than sevenNGOs on Friday. The initiative was to alleviatepoverty and to give back to the community.
Mackay Shelter manager Nompumelelo Za-zini said this is part of their social responsibili-ty.
Blessed is the hand that gives to the needy.Thats our yearly motto. If we have, let us giveto those who do not. We are a shelter that opera-tes similarly to NGOs, but we believe in givingand sharing, said Zazani.
The first stop was at Khaya Lethu based inVereeniging led by Rose Gama, who looks af-ter 15 homeless people and orphans. She wasvery emotional to see police cars parked outs-ide. Police handed over food and clothes for
her children. The second stop was Lebohang Centre - Ho-
me for the Disabled in Zone 10 whose manage-ment said that the food donations came at justthe right time as the centre is going througha crisis.
The third stop was at Letsa- la-Bethesta CareCentre on the outskirts of Eatonside led by Ma-ria Mokoena, who praised and sang hymns gi-ving glory to the Almighty God. May Godbless you and increase your territory, said Mo-koena. Scelo Service Centre led by Maria Ma-duna was the fifth one. This centre caters forsenior citizens. Professor Mashupye Kgaphola, SATN Chairperson and Vice-Chancellor of Mangosuthu University of Technology.
Nontobeko Zondi
The SATN Chairperson and Vice-Chancellor of Mangosuthu University of Technology, Professor Mashupye Kgaphola shared the vision of SATN conference and what it hoped to achieve going forward. He said Poly-technic of Namibia is a new member of SATN and they are broadening the part-nerships of the association. The essence of the conference is to explore how to craft and instill the importance of entre-preneurship within students, said Pro-fessor Kgaphola.
Shedding light on the importance, Pro-fessor Kgaphola said that the conference outlines the new curriculum, research and work integrated learning (WIL) is-sues that are pertinent to the Universities of Technology. He ad-ded that the out-
come of the conference will state the im-portance of how the association makes the graduates fit and ready for the field of work and also change the mindset of stu-dents while studying. He further stated that whislt the students training work-shop ran in conjunction with the con-ference, they are engaged by academics and real life entrepreneurs and this will help translate what is happening in the conference to students.
He said this will help to structure the cur-riculum in producing graduates that can be entrepreneurs, advising that students need to take note that there is a very low level of entrepreneurship in the country, yet there are fewer jobs available. He en-couraged everyone to think broadly on how to find a space in the new economy.
NOTE FROM SATN CEO
At the pre-conference workshop of the SATN, The CEO of SATN Professor Anshu Padayachee said that the role of the aca-demics in research has become so pro-found. Although SATN is a new kid on the
block in relation to the traditional univer-sities, there is no better time than now, to meet the countrys imperatives of the na-tional development plan for skills development. UoTs will also be in a posi-tion to mentor the TVET lecturers.

PROPHET SHIRU In VEREEnIgIng 063 241 3239
PROPHET MADE MY EnEMIES COnFESS WHAT THEY DID TO ME!!
I used to suffer a lot in my life and at one point I thought of ending my life. I had tried so many people in the past but no on seemed to help! Until I saw Prophet Shiru on SABC TV helping people.
I took down his number and booked an appointment with him.
He charged me only R100 to read my fortune and showed me my enemies in a mirror and I was shocked. He made them come and confess everything they had done to me as professed by Prophet Shiru. They caused me to break up with my husband and have lots of bad luck. They had done muthi that made my forehead swell and tokoloshe grow inside it. He then performed ritual to remove it and showed it to me and cured me after that. Theres no other way I can thank Prophet Shiru than telling the whole world about him.He helps with Love, luck, marriage, court cases, business, protection etc.

team like other LFAS. Ho-wever, Sedibeng SterSports attempt to get the Sa-fa Sedibeng administrationscomment to explain this wasfruitless as the office is stillclosed and still under admi-nistration. This newspaperreported earlier this year thatSafa Sedibeng offices wereforced to close due to non-payment of rent.
I have no doubt that weare ready to compete in theSAB League because I havebeen there before as a coachand I know what to expect.
There is no time to restand we have already startedplanning for the future. I alsowant to thank the EmfuleniLocal Football Associationfor its support because werepresent the ELFA at theplay-offs. I also thank all theSuper League teams in ourstream because if it wasntfor them I dont think wecould have achieved this, said an excited Mashilo.
Meanwhile, Safa Sedi-beng SAB League teamswill involve themselves inthe Nedbank Cup this wee-kend at Shakespeare Stadi-um.
ZachariaNaleSEDIBENG. - All Stars FC willcampaign in the Safa SedibengSAB League in the new season. This was after this Bophelong-based side gave a five star per-formance during the regionalplay-offs in Heidelberg over theweekend.
Speaking to Sedibeng SterSport, Stars manager CoachKenneth Mashilo, formerlywith Mighty Blues FC, believesplaying in the SAB League willbring professional football toBophelong. The over-the-moonMashilo said they are in SABLeague to compete, not to addnumbers. He was confident thathis side will make its presencefelt when the league starts.
The regional play-offs invol-ved winners in the EmfuleniLocal Football Association, Le-sedi Local Football Associationand Midvaal Local Football As-sociation. Juventus FC fromHeidelberg is another team thatwill join All Stars in the SABLeague in the new season. Thelatter finished second while AllStars finished first on the pro-motional play-offs log.
Sedibeng Ster Sport has lear-ned that Midvaal was represen-ted by two teams instead of one

ZachariaNaleVANDERBIJLPARK. - It was a walkdown memory lane for former femalesoccer players when they hosted reuni-on matches at Shakespeare Stadium onSaturday. Speaking to Sedibeng SterSport, Lorraine Montsho, one of theorganisers said this initiative was tobring together those women who con-tributed to the development of wo-
mens football in the region. This one-day tournament saw teams from as farafield as the Free State participating inthis unique initiative. Montsho saidshe was overwhelmed by the teamsresponse: The support was great andI want to thank all the teams who res-ponded to our call. The main objectiveof this initiative is to acknowledge wo-men or ladies who contributed to the
development of football in the country. If it wasnt for them I dont think wo-mens football would be where it is to-day. We appeal to local businesses andcompanies to come on board to makethis event big, said Montsho.
She believes the initiative will getbetter and better if they get sponsorsto attract former women soccer play-ers in this country.
