Sealed tenders are invited for Landscape Lighting & Public Address

System work of Chandigarh Judicial Academy. Interested parties may obtain

tender documents with detailed specifications and commercial terms and

conditions from the office of the Academy on any working day up to

05 March 2016 on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in

cash/Demand Draft in favour of “Chandigarh Judicial Academy” payable at

Chandigarh. Tender duly completed with requisite documents must reach in

the office of Chandigarh Judicial Academy up to 3.30 PM by 21st March 2016.

The technical & price bid shall be opened at 4.00 PM on the same day in the

presence of the representatives of the bidders if available, shortlisted bidders

shall be required to give power point presentation to the Hon’ble Board of

Governors on the appointed time and date. The focus of the presentation

shall be to showcase the concept and technical competence to execute the

captioned work. The Academy reserves the right to reject the lowest bidders

or the offers of all the bidder without assigning any reason.

CHANDIGARH JUDICIAL ACADEMY

Details of Work required under this contract at Chandigarh Judicial Academy.

LANDSCAPE LIGHTING & PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM The purpose of the work is that

the whole Academy premises must look rich with lighting & Public Address system

so as to provide an excellent ambience of work-environment. The Academy

premises should be environment friendly and it should offer the visitors a delightful

and pleasant experience. The contractor will develop the concept of electrification,

lighting & Public Address system in the parks and lawns of Chandigarh Judicial

Academy.

2.2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TENDER

1. Tenders are invited to submit tender form, which shall contain the

information about the tender in two bid systems 1) Technical Bid, 2) Financial Bid.

Technical Bid contains , 1. Tender fees, 2. Experience documents (information of

work order copy with satisfactory performance report) Financial Bid contains, (Price

Bid in attached format).

Experience & past performance in the execution of similar contract(s), Capability

with respect to personnel, equipments, capacities, price quotations Demand Draft of

Tender form Fees and Earnest Money deposit as mentioned in favour of “Chandigarh

Judicial Academy” payable at Chandigarh. Along with offer rates in given financial

bid format.

2. The work to be completed by the contractor within 02 (Two) months from the

date of agreement.

3. The contractor will be responsible for execution of Landscape Lighting & Public

Address system along with material and manpower for gardens/lawns of

Chandigarh Judicial Academy.

4. The contractor will perform all work in accordance with the local

regulations and bye laws.

5. The Chandigarh Judicial Academy reserves the right to accept or reject

any/all/part of Tender without providing any justification.

6. The contractor must put his signature with seal of organization on each

page of the tender document.

7. An agreement for this work shall be executed on Rs. 100/- Non Judicial

Stamp Paper between the contractor and the Chandigarh Judicial Academy,

Chandigarh after acceptance of work order. The stamp paper fee shall be

borne by the contractor.

8. SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTE (ARBITRATION)

All the disputes and differences of any kind whatever arising out of or in

connection with the contract or the carrying out of the works, whether during the

progress of the works or after their completion and whether before or after the

determination or breach of the contract, shall be resolved through mutual

discussions, however, if the dispute is not solved then the matter shall be resolved

under the provisions of Arbitration and Reconciliation Act amended from time to

time. The Director of the Academy shall be the sole Arbitrator. His/her award will be

final.

9. The contractor shall take care of the safety of his tools & tackles at our site and

the Academy shall not be responsible for any loss.

10. The contractor shall arrange all his tools & tackles for carrying out the work him.

11. The ‘Agency’ will engage its own labour and manpower to execute the work

satisfactorily as per the terms of allotment /agreement. None of the staff,

employees/representatives engaged by the ‘Agency’ or his/her heirs shall have any

right to lay any claim against ‘Academy’ for the death, injury, disability arising out of

the work carried out in pursuance of this contract nor any right for employment,

damages, dues or claims, as being workman of ‘Academy’.

12. The persons employed by the ‘Agency’ shall be under its overall control and

supervision. There shall be a Supervisor to be engaged by the ‘Agency’ from its own

source, who shall be liable for payment of their wages etc. and all other dues within

the stipulated time which the ‘Agency’ is liable to pay under various regulations and

other statutory provisions.

13. Deduction of TDS and other govt. levies if applicable shall be deducted from the

bills as per the govt rules.

PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

14. The payment shall be made after completion of work.

15. 10% payment of contract money shall be held as performance guarantee which

shall be paid after one year from the date of completion of work.
