TYPES OF ADHESIVES
Water based adhesives for example P.V.APoly-Vinyl-Acetate.
Contact solvent based adhesives such asevostick these are applied to bothsurfaces and allowed to go tacky before
joining the parts.
Superglues or fast setting CyanoacrylateAdhesives these are acrylic resins thatreact to moisture which helps them to set.

BONDING BODY PANELS
Use a two pack adhesive with a hardener.
Clean surfaces to be bonded back to baremetal and apply a degreaser.
Apply adhesive bead, taking care to cover
all bare metal surfaces. Spread out using a plastic spreader or
brush to ensure corrosion protection.

BONDING BODY PANELS
Remove clamps after 4 hours at 23C,
longer if temperature is below this. Higher temperatures will speed up the
drying process.
Allow 24 hours for curing beforereturning vehicle to service.

BONDING METAL
Use a two pack adhesive with a hardener.
Clean surfaces to be bonded back to bare metal
and apply a degreaser
Apply a bead of adhesive, taking care to cover all
