Steps For Updating ScreenLogic 2p p g g

Uninstall existing ScreenLogic Connect

Update Protocol Adapter

Go to Website www.pentair.com – new software

Update Interface Device(s)

Click on ScreenLogic Connect and verify the Pentairverify the PentairAdapter Number populates in the Local Systems box and proceedbox and proceedwith the update

If nothing populates or “un-named brick” displays in the Local Systems box, call Pentair Tech Service at 1-800-831-7133before proceeding

Uninstall Screen Logic

Uninstall the existing Screen Logic Connect

Click on the start button

Click on Control Panel

Click on “Uninstallprograms” or “removeremoveprograms” depending on which operating system thesystem thecomputer uses

Find and click on the Pentair ScreenLogicgConnectprogram

Click on the uninstall button

A warning box will ask you if you are sure yyou want to remove Pentair ScreenLogic –Select “Yes”

Preparing to remove - You may get a box y gthat wants you to verify that this program may be removedy

Verify that the Pentair ScreenLogicgprogram has been removed from the computers list of pprograms

The screenLocic icon has been removed from the desktop

Go to Website https://www.pentair.com/en/products/pool-spa-equipment.html – new software

Download New Software

A link has been provided on the Pentair Pool Page to allow for quick access to the ScreenLogicUpdate

Start at Step 1: Update yourUpdate yourProtocol Adapter

Click on “Download the Protocol Adapterthe Protocol Adapterupdate tool” (PC or Mac)

Choose either PC or Mac and “Click Here”

When the file download window pops up, click on “Save”

Choose “Desktop”

Click on “Save”

A box will pop upletting you know the download is complete

Find the download for PC or Mac and click on the “click here” link

At the website go to St 2Step 2:

Disable your computers wireless connection

Connect your laptop di tl t th tdirectly to the same routeras your protocol adapter with an ethernet cable

You may need to ask the h hhome owner to show you where the router is located(Multiple Routers?)
