    What is The School of Transformation?

    The School of Transformation is a 1-year course focused on personal and collective growth and development.

    The course is divided into 3 trimesters. Trimesters consist of 4 sessions of 3,5 hours each.

    Depending on your personal development goals and schedule, you can follow one, two or three trimesters.

    Groups consist of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16 participants.

    What makes The School of Transformation so unique?

    The combination of insights from scientific research, goal-oriented personal development, dialogue, theory,

    philosophical perspectives and a series of relevant practical exercises.

    You will achieve personal and collective growth and the techniques you will learn to live a healthier, happier and

    meaningful life will remain applicable for as long as you live.

  • You will gain greater insight than ever before into areas in which you can develop yourself both individually and

    as a group.

    You will co-create a safe and stimulating setting in which other participants will inspire you and actively support

    you to reach your personal development goals.

    As a group, you will learn a shared language to be able to communicate clearly about most known areas of

    personal growth, both with participants and people in your daily life.

    As a group you will also develop the practical skills necessary to continue organizing sessions as an autonomous

    collective after the conclusion of the trimesters.

    What subjects do the sessions cover?

    Trimesters consist of 4 sessions of 3,5 hours each. Within this structure, sessions 1 and 3 are inspiration-sessions and

    sessions 2 and 4 are co-creation sessions. The inspiration-sessions are characterized by a specific theme related to the

    study of consciousness development and human potential. These themes are partially based on integral theory (the study

    of holistic approaches to human existence) and cover the following subjects:

    - Multiple Intelligences

    - Stages of Human Development

    - Domains of Human Experience

    - States of Consciousness

    - Personality Types

    For more information, see the overview of the content of the inspiration-sessions from pages 9 to 20.

    The co-creation sessions are characterized by one or more inspirational themes, among which:

    - Nutrition

    - Boxing

    - Yoga

    - Qi Gong

    - Meditation

    - Constellation Work

    - Voice Liberation

    - Dance

    The co-creation sessions are furthermore characterized by themes suggested by participants. These sessions consist of

    many practical exercises to help participants individually and collectively utilize their potential. During these sessions

    participants also work together towards reaching the personal and collective goals they formulate during the trimester.

  • How will I achieve my desired results during The School of Transformation?

    To guarantee you achieve your desired results during the course, you will be supported by the facilitator to follow four

    steps:

    1 You identify your most important values, principles, ideals and developmental goals.

    2 You formulate concrete goals for individual and collective development and select effective strategies to gradually

    achieve your goals.

    3 You increase your individual awareness through:

    (a) sharing knowledge, insights and experiences within a network of mutually inspiring relationships.

    (b) practicing relevant exercises.

    4 You sustainably maintain the positive results you have achieved.

    The result? Sustainable transformation!

    When and where will The School of Transformation take place?

    Both the dates and times as well as the location of the trimesters are decided upon collectively based on dialogue

    between the participants and the facilitator.

    Each session has a standard duration of 3,5 hours

    Bring all the people in your network with whom you would like to experience one or more trimesters of The School of

    Transformation along to an introduction-workshop! The next Dutch-language introduction-workshop is scheduled for Sunday

    the 22nd of November, 2015, from 14:00 to 16:30, at Studio Porcelijn, on the Van Ostadestraat 482, 1074 XE in Amsterdam.

    The next English-language introduction-workshop is scheduled for Sunday the 29th of November, 2015, from 14:00 to

    16:30, also at Studio Porcelijn. The price of the workshop is 35,- per person.

    Because we will be focusing on a variety of activities during the introduction-workshop, among which physical exercise,

    meditation and visualisation exercises, you are advised to bring the following:

    - Comfortable clothing

    - Inside shoes (no black soles)

    - A bottle of water

    What does it cost to attend one or more trimesters of The School of Transformation?

    The tuition fee for each trimester is 500,- per person (tax not included). Upon payment in advance of the entire course

    of 3 trimesters, the total tuition fee for all three trimesters combined is 1.250,- per person (tax not included).

    What is expected of me as a participant?

    All participants are expected to be intrinsically motivated to participate and are expected to participate in the process

    from friendliness, openness and responsibility.

    What does the phrase Compassion & Wisdom in Action mean?

    Within the context of The School of Transformation, compassion is considered to be our ability to experience

    unconditional love towards ourselves, others and reality.

    Wisdom is considered to be our ability to make clear distinctions between different aspects of reality.

    The phrase in action implies that the course is designed to support participants in practicing compassion and wisdom.

  • Facilitator

    With a background as a physical therapist and systemic therapist, Lee Mason currently works

    as a trainer to help individuals and groups strategically implement sustainable positive changes.

    His mission with The School of Transformation is to inspire participants to:

    1 Lead a healthier, happier and more meaningful life

    2 Utilize their talents and skills as effectively as possible to fulfil their individual and

    collective potential

    3 Take strategic action to achieve sustainable positive change.

    During this session we will focus on four recognizable domains of human experience.

    1. The dimension of personality & experience, concerning our subjective individual

    thoughts, emotions, attitudes, values and experience.

    and behavioural characteristics, such as our eating habits, our blood pressure and the

    way we speak.

    3. The dimension of relationships & culture, concerning of our subjective collective

    experience, relationships and shared values.

    behaviour and our technologically constructed environment.

    During this session we will focus on different types of intelligence we as human beings can excel at. We will expand our self-awareness and learn how to more often make use of our talents to bring out the best on ourselves and others. Besides theoretical knowledge concerning the scientific study of multiple intelligences, we shall also experience each of 10 different types of intelligences, among which physical, emotional, mental, creative, social and ethical.

    Development

    During this session we will focus on stages of human development. We will increase our insight in ourselves and others. We will learn about scientific research into the developmental stadia of humans, some of which we have moved through as children (such as the formation of individuality) and will experience developmental stadia we can experience and cultivate as adults (such as transcending self-interest to advance the interests of others).
