School Direct places are offered in the English Baccalaureate subjects, where there is a strong track record of achievement across our 4 schools. • Success for all in Mathematics and English is reflected in the achievement of all abilities at GCSE, and a

higher than average proportion of students progressing to A level and to English or Mathematics-based University courses.

• In Sciences, we offer a range of courses to suit the full ability range. High numbers of students take

separate sciences at GCSE, with high standards of achievement. A high proportion of students progress through to A level and beyond to read science-based courses at University.

• We offer high quality provision for the teaching of a range of languages at GCSE, including French,

German, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, Latin, Greek, Japanese, from entry to A level; high calibre linguists progressing from A level success to University.

• Geography and History are very popular and high-performing subjects, with almost all our pupils opting

to taking one or both to GCSE and enjoying a varied programme of field trips and visits both abroad and in the UK.
