The scholarship award shall be for full-time graduate studies for the completion of a Master’s/PhD degree in any of the DOST identified priority fields. 2. The scholar must not be employed or practicing his/her profession while on scholarship; he/she must secure approval for official leave of absence, if employed. 3. The awardee shall execute a Scholarship Agreement with DOST. 4. Evaluation of the academic performance of the scholar based on established policies shall be done to determine the scholarship status every semester or term. 5. A service obligation to be rendered in the Philippines shall be required of the scholar after finishing the MS/PhD degree, i.e. one year for every year of scholarship. National Science Consortium (NSC) Member-Universities: ADMU, CLSU, DLSU, MSU-IIT, UP Diliman, UP Los Baños, UP Manila, UP Visayas, UST, VSU An applicant must: be a Filipino citizen; not be more than 45 years old at

the time of application; be in good health condition; pass the admission requirements

for graduate studies at any of the NSC member-universities; and

pass the interview and other screening procedures.

Letter of Admission which should include the evaluation sheet and program of study
