Edward Crawford Named US Ambassador To Ireland
Edward Crawford has been confirmed as Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland. As reported on the National AOH website, it had been 874 days since there had been a US Ambassador to one of the United States oldest friends. At this critical moment in history, we wish him much success.

Greetings, brothers!
Summertime and the "Livin' is easy"! I pray that you are having a lazy, hazy, crazy one.
We were excited to learn that the Internal Revenue Service has advised us that the Division has its not for profit status back! The long and windy road to this landmark was lead by Brothers Owen Cole and Patrick Cremmins. Thanks for this, guys! We owe you a great deal!
If you are planning on attending the state convention, I hope you have registered by now. It's not often that it's in our own backyard. I hope to see you there.
Our Golf Tournament was a rousing success. Anyone who attended had a great time. The winners are listed in this newsletter and should be congratulated. Attendance was good and we expect an even greater turnout next June 5, 2020. Please put the date on your calendar. You don't want to miss this! I would like to thank Brothers Jim Shaughnessy,, Patrick Cremmins, John Humphrey, Steve Mackey, and our salesman of the year Mike McDermott for their tireless efforts heading up the committee. It is a pleasure working with these guys. Brothers Dave Connelly, Jim Scott, Ned Martin, Pat Riley, Owen Cole, and Brad Jarvis worked behind the scenes to get this project done. Special thanks to the ladies who gave it their all; Michol Murphy, Susan Stewart, Colleen Hellriegel, Rae Hughes, Connie Tricozzi-Dilallo, Tierney Hughes and a bunch of others I am not naming. I hesitate to name names because I know I am leaving someone out. It's not that we don't appreciate your help. It's just that I am old and losing my mind. Thank you everyone!
The two candidates for New York State Treasurer came to our Division meeting on June 21st. Both gentlemen, Mike Byrne and Tom Beirne came and made their cases for election. Both men are well qualified to become our treasurer. Come to the convention to cast your vote.
Our next regular meeting is July 19, 2019 and then again on August 16, 2019. We hope to see you there.

Member Notes
Division Meetings As the summer months are here, are meeting schedule will be changed slightly. The July 5th meeting is cancelled, but we will meet on July 19th at our regular time of 7:30pm. Our August 2d meeting will be held cancelled, but we will be meeting on August 16th. We will go back to two meetings a month in September.
And don’t forget to play the Queen of Hearts game after the meeting, the pot is growing, and is currently over $900!

Britney underwent 2 very agonizing brain surgeries and it has been a very successful outcome. No more seizures!! Thank you so much for your support, love and prayers . Annual Dues To all members that have paid their annual dues we thank you! And to those members who also included a donation, thanks again! But we have more to go, for those that have not paid, just a reminder that the annual dues for our Division are now past due. Letters and emails have been sent to all members. If you not have received it, it’s possible we have crossed in the mails, or have outdated contact information on you. If so, please send check to the hall, Attn: Financial Secretary. Regular members dues are $60, associate members are $55, Seniors are $20. Dues cover calendar year, from January to December, 2019. Thanks in advance!

Candidates and observers alike should note that proper dress code is in order (no sneakers, shorts, tee shirts, etc.), so that the ceremony is conducted in the dignified manner that it deserves.
