Exploration of Tourism Potential Areas and Products: To reduce the pressure on traditional tourists destinations, new areas and new themes were explored like Akant Vas etc.

Classification of Hotels: The Stakeholders were well convinced to get their Hotels and Restaurants classified and registered for better marketing and financial gain, it made the impact. More than 9 nos of hotels classified as Four/three/ two Stars.

Enforcement of Sikkim Tourism Trade Act/Rules: To regulate the Tourism Industry in better way, the required legal enforcement was taken up.

Policy Decision for leasing out and Management of Tourism Properties/Assets: To manage and market the Tourism Infrastructure especially in Rural areas, the policy guidelines were issued and implemented.

Adventure Tourism: This area has big potential and hence, a approach and path was framed with all the Stake Holders and Youths to develop it and market it. It has made inroad in the field.

Special Impact of Helicopter Service: The Helicopter Service was made more effective and it was taken to other destinations, rural areas and made more reliable by publicity and timely operation.

Sikkim Tourism Promotion: At National and International Level through Fairs, Festivals, Events, One to One meetings with Travel Agents and Hoteliers, Tour Operators, transporters, Airlines and Corporate Houses.

Skywalk Project, Bhalleydhunga, South Sikkim: The work on Pre-Feasibility report was completed and Concept Project was design. Proposal was included in 13th Finance Commission and the proposal for Wildlife, Forests and Environmental clearances processed and perused.
