THE COMPANY Today, world seems to be smaller place. Almost everybody in using smart gadgets like mobile, laptops.television, industrial equipment and electronic appliances for comfort and effcient productivity.

We have accepted that nobody can live without electricity and if it is, so what are the measurements

for keeping them safe from electricity uctuations? After many years of relentless R&D process, in the

year 2006, we came up with the throbbing idea of making industrial earthing products with the name

of Shri Vasudha Gel Earthing electrode.

Earthing is the first essential and mandatory part of electrical maintenance, Shri Vasudha Gel Earthing

is maintenance free yet it ensures the safety of human life, appliances and machineries with great

ease.

WHAT IS EARTHING?In electrical engineering, ground or earth (symbol: ⏚) can refer to the reference point in an electrical circuit

from which voltages are measured, a common return path for electric current, or a direct physical connection

to the Earth.

WHY EARTHING?Unfortunately, our electrical ecosystem is not perfect. It is constantly attacked by high voltages, fault currents,

surges, short circuits & lightning all of which can turn deadly. So, any structure which has electricity running

through it needs earthing for the protection of property and life.

What are the factors that determine the life of an earthing system?Since the earthing system works underground, lot of environmental factors come into play to decide the life of

the earthing system. They include

Soil conditions

Moisture content

Climate changes

Soil resistivity

Types of soil

(Normal, sandy, semi rocky, rocky etc.)

Acidity levels of the soil

Basic maintenance schedule

Apart from the above, it is very crucial that the installation of the earthing system is done as per specifications;

non adherence will not only drastically reduce service life of the system but also hinder earth resistance results.

A commitment for Genuine MaterialIt is important to remember that when you select Earthing Electrodes, M.O.C. (Metal of Conductor) is play a big

role. Specially for New era earthing electrode which is known as Chemical Earthing, Gel Earthing or

Maintenance Free Earthing, when you are selecting it, you are not selecting product, you are selecting a

solution. The quality of Gel earthing which is used to drive your valuables, Does it mean the difference between

HD-Hot Dip Galvanized Iron and Galvanized Iron? Major difference will occur in Electrode's life, in HDG and

Non-HDG Electrodes. Even in copper electrodes difference will occur in conductivity also.

Recent industry research has revealed that there are many products in the market that do not provide the HD

(Hot-Dip Galvanizing) which is very much affect to your earthing life and result in ohms value as well as for

them to perform properly. This is a result of poor manufacturing and the use of sub-standard components to

save production costs. The quality of your HD Electrodes also mean the difference between a safe and long life

earthing system.

Hot-Dip Galvanizing is the process of coating fabricated steel by immersing it in a bath of molten zinc. There

are three fundamental steps in the hot-dip galvanizing process; galvanizing and inspection.

proactive earthing protection strategy. The Earthing Electrode is manufactured from custom-made I.S.I tube

WHAT IS BACK FILL COMPOUNDSWe have developed our unique back-fill-compound. Our unique back-fill-compound is a combination of

natural earth minerals, which having the hygroscopic property, to retain the moisture for a long time. During

Installation with proper water pouring, our B.F.C. powder convert into the “Gel” & its quality to retain the

moisture upto twenty times its dry volume as well as it create a gel layer surrounding of our electrode.

To achieve quality and cost-effective solution, we are having Vasudha, Vasudha Plus and Vasudha Extra Plus-

EARLY STEAMER EMISSION LIGHTNING ARRESTOR (NFC 17-102)

LARGER ZONE OF PROTECTION Standard describes the main measures of the protecting buildings against direct lightning strokes using an early steamer emission lightning conductor. The Principal of protecting buildings against lightning is based on the electro-geometrical model.

In Early Steamer Emission Lightning Protection- a Lightning rod equipped with a system which creates the triggering advance of the upward ladder when compared with a simple rod (S.R.) Lightning conductor in the same conditions.

Simply, a Rod which does not having specific triggering advance device is not an Early Steamer Emission Lightning Arrester.

The protection area depends on a number of factors: Gain in triggering time T of the chosen ESE model. Depending on the protection level required on a given site, according to the lightning risk assessment guide (NFC 17-102) Actual height of the lightning air terminal above the surface area to be protected.

Back Fill Compound

Having all the properties which an ideal BFC should require. It helps to reducing

soil resistivity and retain moisture and works efficiently to dissipate the fault current.

Moisture is major factor in all earthing system, Shree Vasudha Extra Plus BFC

provides enough moisture and maintains for long time. When our Extra Plus Back fill

compound mixed with water, it convert in to semi permeable conductive gel foam

around the electrode. Specifically developed for relatively dry conditions.

MAXIMUM SURFACE AREA:

INSTALLATION METHOD OF SHREE VASUDHA GEL EARTHING ELECTRODE

CAUTION

(1) Do not drop the Earthing Electrode. (2) Do not subject it to any kind of driving force. (3) Do not hammer it while installing the

Electrode. (4) Do not use it other than the purpose of Earthing. (5) Remove the thin plastic cover before installing the electrode. (6)

Always, place the Electrode keeping the connecting terminal on top. (7) Apply petroleum jelly over the exposed part (Terminal) of

the Electrodes to safe guard it against the corrosion.

Augur / Drill / Bore a hole of 8 - 10 Inch in diameter at a place where

earthing is to be done, to a suitable depth of 2 meters (Electrode Length)

Place the Earthing Electrode inside the pit

Mix the back fill compound nicely with the soil, which has been dug out.

Re-Fill the empty space around the Earthing Electrode with this compound

mix soil.

While re-filling the space, pour adequate water in the PIT intermittently.

Pack the soil around the Electrode tightly and nicely.

Again pour adequate water with using vibrator to create proper vacuum

at least 3 - 4 feet around the Earthing Electrode.

Test the earth resistivity of the Electrode and if the result is satisfactory,

then connect it with the equipments.

If the result is not satisfactory, then allow the Electrode some time(2/3

Weeks) for setting of the soil and then check it & connect it.

If the soil is of high resistivity i.e. Semi rocky or rocky soil, use back- fill

compound only for refilling the PIT.
