Saudi Catering & Contracting Company, the pioneer in the field of Catering & Life Support Services in the Middle East & Gulf, is in business for almost fifty years, having had a humble beginning in early sixties. The company is the largest diversified Catering and Personnel Life Support Services outfit in the Middle East with offices in Alkhobar, Riyadh, Jeddah and in many suburbs in the Kingdom. Today SCCC is present in Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq and our presence was even felt in Afghanistan.

Managed by a team of highly qualified professionals, drawn from different specialities, and with a 5,500 plus multinational workforce, SCCC has been successfully involved in some of the largest and most prestigious projects undertaken in Saudi Arabia. SCCC has provided catering and other life support services for oil and gas exploration and production projects, petrochemical projects, government agencies, military contractors, Saudi Arabian Armed Forces major construction contractors and hospital projects. SCCC’s proven project experience, depth of resources and quality of service also allowed it to successfully provide

full catering and support services to the armed forces stationed in the Kingdom throughout the Gulf War, even under combat conditions, mobilising the required workforce within a matter of days and served over 120,000 additional meals per day.

INSTITUTIONAL CATERING

As a natural extension of its catering expertise, SCCC has successfully moved into the more demanding task of Institutional Catering, which is basically catering to schools, colleges and hospitals.

Having gained and applied successful methods of catering to a large number of students and patients under diverse conditions, SCCC expanded its activities throughout the Kingdom. They included operating cafeterias, sandwich bars, staff restaurants etc. as well as providing special diet meals for patients. Its capabilities for providing tailor-made, cost-effective and competent services are well known.

SCCC had also expanded its services in Comprehensive Health Management resulting in the successful conclusion of contracts for Operation and Management of the Ministry of Health’s 345-bed ultra-modern King Saud Hospital in Unaiza and the prestigious 425-bed King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah. SCCC was awarded the title of “Best Hospital in the Al-Qassim Region” in 1992.

The Laundry Division of SCCC has established Standard Operating Procedures which provides guidance in the operation and maintenance of laundry services within SCCC operations. The said Standard Operating Procedures are strictly adhered to by our experienced staff highlighting staffing and equipment, safety procedures, training, preventive maintenance in addition to the work flow of collection & distribution, segregation & marking, washing & drying of clothes.

SCCC has also substantial labour accommodation in the Eastern and Central Zones of Saudi Arabia capable of accommodating over 1,000 persons.

LABOUR CAMPSCCC provides labour accommodation on custom-built camps that the company operates commercially. In Jubail, SCCC manages and operates Haii 2 and Haii 14 for the Royal Commission, which can collectively accommodate over 7,000 persons.

STATE OF QATARIn the state of Qatar we are into a joint-venture where we operate in the name of General Catering & Contracting Company (GCCC) with offices in Doha. One of our prestigious projects in the State of Qatar is in the vicinity of New Doha International Airport where we are involved in the Life Support Services feeding as many as 1200+ different nationalities.

SCCC presence was felt in Afghanistan in 2005 and 2006.

IRAQSaudi Catering & Contracting Company is presently involved in catering and allied services under a contract with KBR for the ‘Operation Iraqi Freedom’ of the United States Army. SCCC services are at present extended to US Forces in Bucca Camp. Services were also extended to four hotels in Baghdad (viz. Baghdad, Al Sadeer, Gardenia & Al Khaleej).
