Furthermore, a narrow focus on innovation also underestimates the importance of the external context. Good timing is not the same thing as being first. He has had extensive experience in value creation and driving major cultural change for public and private organizations in 20+ countries in four continents. Dr. Villeda was the first person in the U.S. to earn a doctorate in Just in Time Manufacturing (1985) and is the Global Education Chair of ASQ-Mining IG.
