To create a Equipment.(IE01)

Equipment -A piece of equipment includes all plant lines and their components.

Equipment An individual, physical object that is maintained as an autonomous unit.

Class A group of similar objects described by means of characteristics that they have incommon.

Planner group Key that uniquely identifies the planner group in Plant Maintenance.

work center An organizational unit that represents a suitably equipped, physical location wherework can be performed.

Object Type A division of a technical object for precise description.

Location The key in this field indicates a location within a plant.

Plant Section A division of maintenance plants into production areas.

Output – Results Comments

Creation of Equipment. Refer to Business Process Procedure „Display a Equipment.

Via Transaction Code IE01

On screen “Create Equipment”: Initial Screen”, enter information in the fields as specified in the table below:
