Transform Workforce Experiences with SAP® SuccessFactors® HCM Suite

We are pleased to announce the following innovations in SAP® SuccessFactors® HCM Suite, which will help your workforce experience improved agility, engagement, and results that inspire performance and motivate everyone to deliver on your organization’s purpose and mission.

REIMAGINED EXPERIENCES FOR EMPLOYEE CAREER DEVELOPMENT We’re excited to introduce the first in a series of enhancements designed to harness the value of your talent solutions, specifically for your employees. With this release, for example, employees can use their SAP SuccessFactors Mobile app to link their learning activities with their continuous performance management activities and achievements. For example, employees can easily create an achievement upon completion of a learning course.

With mobile-enabled career development planning, employees can now add, edit, and delete development goals anytime, anywhere, allowing for ongoing development that’s more strategic, tied to personal goals, and impactful in helping people develop the skills and capabilities they need.

Likewise, by using learning recommendations now available on their mobile device, employees can engage in relevant, on-the-go learning and development. They can discover personalized recommen-dations, driven by machine learning, that are aligned with their skills, interests, and desired career paths.

CORE HR (EMPLOYEE CENTRAL) In this release, HR managers can now create concurrent employment directly when employees are hired. Additionally, we have enhanced our alerting functionality to enable HR administrators to filter out unwanted alerts so they can focus on the most relevant topics. These enhancements simplify administrative HR tasks and improve the efficiency for HR operations.

TIME MANAGEMENT (EMPLOYEE CENTRAL)Employees now have more flexible options for entering and editing time worked on their mobile devices, including enhanced approvals, support for nontraditional shifts such as partial weeks and half-day time off, and enhanced views of current and future time balance.

PAYROLL (EMPLOYEE CENTRAL)We are excited to announce new capabilities that enable teams of experts or shared-service groups to access a shared, centralized workflow list regarding potential payroll errors for issue resolution. This new functionality allows teams to work together to help ensure the right people are working on the right things. It also helps avoid work overlap and helps ensure that issues are resolved prior to a payroll due date. In addition, full auditability of “who did what” is maintained and reportable.

HELP DESK (EMPLOYEE CENTRAL) In this release of the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Service Center solution, live-chat interactions are now visible in the Live Activity pane for the HR professional, making it easier to provide a rapid response. If required, the chat transcript can be saved.

VISA AND PERMIT MANAGEMENTThis release gives you detailed insight into the costs associated with visa and permits management across your organization. In addition, you can better manage employee costs (including taxation) and payment methods as well as perform cost allocation to the profit and loss (P&L) statement or payroll. Relevant documents can be stored and attached for auditing purposes.

Employees can request visas and permits in a self-service manner and are able to attach required documentation for each step of the process. After completing the request, employees can track the request status.

RECRUITINGWe’re improving the recruiter experience, enabling the autopopulating of job candidates into talent pools that match a specified search criteria. As a result, when new candidates are entered into the recruiting solution, they are automatically assigned to relevant talent pools.

We have expanded e-mail capabilities to include branding for one-to-one correspondence for enhanced candidate communications. In addition, recruiters can now schedule the delivery of e-mail campaigns to candidates.

SAP JAM™There are several enhancements in this release regarding discussions, questions, and idea forums, including new suggestions of relevant postings that appear when creating a new posting from the feed. This will help reduce duplicate content that may already exist and will aid in the discovery of that content. Additionally, forum posts can now be marked as “read only,” preventing comments from being added but retaining the content for archival purposes. Finally, you can now subscribe to a specific forum and be notified when updates and follow-ups to that topic occur.

To further enhance the user experience, administrators of groups in the SAP Jam™ collaboration platform are now provided with embedded tips and information on newly introduced capabilities in the platform.
