The 2015 Santini Collection is the most complete

range we have ever developed. When we brainstormed

the garments for it, we found that every member of our

team had the same common vision. This was going to be

the product series defining the 50th year of our brand, so

it had to be a signature collection – one to remember.

In order to achieve this objective, we put on the

table the values that have always characterised the

Santini brand: quality, passion and innovation. We

selected and developed with our fabric suppliers the

most technologically advanced materials, to offer you

incredible comfort and performance.

Working with ChampionsOur designers set to work on some groundbreaking

concepts, drawing deep inspiration from our past

– our heritage – but also trying to move us into an

inspirational future, where the fit and shape of the

garment become the key elements – defining the

perfect look. We discovered new ways to explore the

relationships we have with our pro athletes, and we

created the Santini Signature Series, of which Olympic

Champion Anna Meares is the first protagonist.

We were proud to enlist Anna’s help in developing our

new collection for women, the most complete we’ve ever

put together, designed for all women who love cycling.

We added to all this our most innovative triathlon range

to date: conceived by triathletes, for triathletes.

If we haven’t convinced you by now that this is a

collection tailor-made for you, well, you’ll just have

to take a deep breath and get on with browsing the

pages of this catalogue.

We are certain you will then understand what we

REBEL WINTER JACKET

This high-performance winter jacket is made

from double-layer Warmsant material. It’s water-

resistant and windproof on the outside, with light,

soft and warm thermofleece fabric on the inside.

Exceptional comfort and breathability come as

standard thanks to the internal mesh lining, printed

comfortable, highly breathable jersey. We used a

special fabric with Resistex® Bioceramic thread:

lightweight and UV-resistant, this fibre helps stimulate

thanks to its ability to attract FIR (far infrared)

rays, keeping you cool and comfortable. Cuffs and

side panels are made from elasticated transpiring

The MEARSEY long sleeve jersey is constructed

from soft, warm thermofleece fabric. The inserts on

the hips and sides have been designed to flatter the

Signature logo is embroidered on the chest. We added

some details at Anna’s request, such as the double

thermofleece cuffs and base that ensure comfort and

BLACKWATER was born from a discussion with

Anna around creating a high-performance, stylish

and feminine jacket. It is made of the exclusive Tempo

membrane fabric: light, breathable, windproof and

water-repellent, and is aero fitted and strategically cut

to enhance its performance. Collar and cuffs are made

of soft, warm thermofleece. The jacket features a long

zipper with a covering flap, and reflective tape on the

back for high visibility. The most fashionable detail is

the internal printed lining, revealing Anna’s design.

KERRIE WINTER JACKET

The KERRIE winter jacket is the warmest garment

in Anna’s collection. Made from Windstopper®

X-Free 300 fabric, windproof and water-resistant, it

BCOOL technology is designed to enhance the breathability of a garment, and it

enables moisture to move to the outside and air to pass through, leaving your skin

fresh and dry. We developed this technology using a layer of elasticated mesh

paired with a shaped laser-cut Lycra® coat, thermo-welded together to leave your

skin abrasion-free.

We apply the BCOOL technology to different garments, from the original

BCOOL bib-shorts to the colourful 2BCOOL jersey. A new version of the BCOOL

technology can be found onto the B-ROB bib-shorts, where the BCOOL panel has

been inserted on the sides of the braces and on the Anna Meares Signature Series

ECO-FRIENDLYZERO IMPACT

It’s time to start doing something for the environment we live in! Innovation

in technical fabrics is moving towards the use of recycled plastic polymers to

produce high-tech performance fabrics, with the same characteristics as non-

recycled ones. Our Zero Impact products are manufactured with fabrics made

of recycled polyester and are produced with reduced energy wastage: they’re

designed to be as eco-friendly as possible.

SUN ENERGYBIOCERAMIC

Resistex® Bioceramic is a polyester fibre bonded with bioceramic material, which

provides excellent thermal insulation, keeping body temperature constant and

isolated from the cold, and reducing calorie expenditure so that less energy is

needed. It is also an active natural barrier against harmful UV-A and UV-B rays;

keeping you cool and comfortable during sport activities. Moreover, Bioceramic

has the ability to reproduce the FIR (far infrared) rays emitted by the sun. FIR

rays can be easily absorbed by the body, stimulate the microcirculatory system,

and boost the metabolism. The heat generated by FIR facilitates better tissue

oxygenation and eases the relaxation of contracted muscles. Available on the Anna

Meares Signature Series 33 jersey.

WIND PROTECTIONSUNRISE

The Sunrise fabric by Pidigi® is a truly innovative material, which we used to

manufacture the wind jackets of this collection. Extremely elasticated and light, it

is perfect to develop slim-fit, aerodynamic and pocketable garments. Windproof

and slightly water-resistant, thanks to the Zero Wind membrane, it guarantees

optimal breathability and a perfect fit. You can find it in our Balthus windbreaker

and in the Anna Meares Signature Series Velo jacket.

TEMPO

Tempo is an incredible three-layered windproof fabric with Hydrophilic Zerowind

membrane. It is light, breathable and soft, windproof and water-repellent. Ideal

for mid-season jackets, you can find it in our Reef rain jersey and in the innovative

Anna Meares Signature Series Blackwater jacket.

WATER PROTECTIONACQUAZERO

Sitip’s Acquazero treatment makes fabric reliably water-resistant (ISO 29865

certified) for the first 60 minutes of use without compromising comfort, elasticity,

softness or warmth. It also ensures maximum breathability, makes the fabric

UV- and chlorine-resistant and guarantees excellent durability after repeated

uses and laundering.

We offer a complete range of garments featuring the Acquazero treatment,

from jerseys, bib-shorts and tights to accessories. We’ve also started using it

for our triathlon range; it has demonstrated very good performance in water,

benefiting the swim session and enabling the garments to dry quickly afterwards.

It’s available on the H21 long sleeve jersey and on the complete triathlon range.

WINDSTOPPER® products combine absolute wind protection with outstanding

breathability, so you stay comfortable with fewer layers of clothing and reduce

X-FREE

Four-way stretch fabric with internal thermofleece, X-FREE has excellent elasticity,

WARMSANT by ZEROWIND®

Warmsant is a fabric made of two layers: an external polyester with water-

repellent treatment, and an internal thermofleece, which is very light and warm.

Warmsant also features the ‘WIND OUT’ treatment, which makes it breathable

and windproof. It’s a great fabric for winter garments and is available on our

Rebel jacket.

WOOL BLENDWOOL HERITAGE TECHNICAL WOOL YARN

Our WOOL HERITAGE products feature an exclusive wool blend, developed

to enable us to create a retro-looking jersey boasting a modern fit and

performance. The WOOL HERITAGE technical wool yarn fabric is light, warm,

breathable and soft on the skin. It mixes wool and polyester and facilitates

sublimation printing to wool, meaning that for the first time we can print a wool

jersey in the same way as a polyester one. So now we can print anything we

like – not just the classic vertical or horizontal lines that used to be the only

things you could do with wool.

All the different Santini paddings are designed by us and are handmade in Italy using our specialist

manufacturing techniques. We stitch the special curves and depressions on the internal part of the

chamois from the inside, so that there are no seams in contact with the skin.

MIG3 – MULTI-DENSITY INJECTED GELTHE LIGHTEST CHAMOIS WITH A GEL CORE

MIG3 is the lightest of the family of Santini gel paddings. The innovative structure

of the central core, composed of a mesh fabric to which we apply a layer of

multiple density anti-shock silicone gel, makes the chamois lighter and extremely

breathable compared with traditional gel paddings. The new bottom layer shape,

made of soft microfibre, is designed to ensure comfort and to protect the area in

contact with the saddle. Two layers of foam increase the anti-shock properties of

the padding. The upper layer, a soft antibacterial microfibre, the central perineal

area channel and the depressions on the top layer offer great fit and complete

freedom of movement, while protecting from chafing and irritation.

MAX2THE EVOLUTION OF OUR TRADITIONAL COOLMAX PADDING

MAX2 represents the evolution of our Coolmax chamois. The anatomical shape

and multiple density foam layer make this padding great for any cycling activity,

whether indoors or out. Antibacterial properties, the absence of stitching in

contact with the skin, and the central channel in the perineal area assure

maximum comfort on the saddle. The MAX2 is also available for kids.

NAT – NEXT TECHNOLOGYTHE PERFECT CHAMOIS FOR THE HOTTEST DAYS

NAT (NEXT, Airflow, Thermoshock) is a revolutionary new chamois – it is the first

Santini padding from the NEXT generation. The NEXT core is enclosed between

two foam layers ranging from 2 to 4mm thick. The top layer is an antibacterial

microfibre that guarantees maximum hygiene while in contact with the skin. At

the base of the padding, two anatomical wings in soft microfibre protect the most

sensitive areas from irritation and soreness.

PRO GRACEDESIGNED FOR WOMEN

Developed to perfectly follow the contours of the female anatomy, pro GRACE

is ideal for any cycling activity, whether indoors or out. The multiple density

foam layers have been developed to offer progressive shock absorption: higher

in the area in contact with the saddle; lower on the outside. The antibacterial

microfibre, the absence of stitching in contact with the skin and the anatomical

wings guarantee maximum comfort on the saddle. For great performance without

compromising on grace or femininity.

GIL2 NEW WOMEN’S VERSION OF GIT CHAMOIS WITH TWIST GEL CORE

Designed to gently follow the female contours, we added two soft anti-chafing

microfibre wings to enhance comfort and fit. A layer of gel, placed between two

thin foam layers, absorbs shocks reliably and gradually and always returns to

its initial shape even after long hours in the saddle. The upper layer is a soft

antibacterial and anti-irritation microfibre, stitched from the inside so that there is

no stitching in contact with the skin.

GIT – GEL INTECHTHE ORIGINAL TWIST GEL CORE CHAMOIS

The original padding with Twist Gel core; it’s the silicone gel that absorbs shocks

constantly and gradually, and always returns to its initial shape, even after long

hours in the saddle. Two layers of foam increase the anti-shock properties of the

padding. The soft antibacterial microfibre and the depressions on the top layer

offer great fit and complete freedom of movement, while also protecting from

chafing and irritation.

GEL INTECH TRIATHLON CHAMOIS (GTR) DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE DEMANDS OF TRIATHLETES

GTR is the Santini chamois designed for triathlon. Made of a thin layer of silicone

gel with strong anti-shock properties, it weighs less than 42g and doesn’t absorb

water – so it doesn’t grow in dimension or weight during the swim. There’s

an antibacterial and anti-irritation microfibre layer in contact with the skin that

ensures maximum comfort on the saddle.
