  • The tubular plate construction incorporates lowantimonial lead alloy spines in complete contactwith the active material, which is retained by anouter gauntlet. This enables the electrolyte topenetrate freely, ensuring a high power output perunit volume.

The negative plate is of a highly porous paste ona lead alloy grid. This compliments the positiveplate construction, providing a balancedperformance and superior life.

    WRAP–AROUND SLEEVE SEPARATORS

Separators are manufactured from microporouspolyethylene. They are impervious to acid attack. Thesleeve separator prevents short-circuiting caused bymossing. Extended battery life is achieved usingsleeved plates.

Prevents possible shorting between plates due toactive material shedding during the life of thecell.

    MUD TRAP

The lid is heat-sealed to thecontainer ensuring an excellentbond. This is vital to mechanicalstrength and safety.
