Nightfever NYC is coming back to St Patrick’s Cathedral on November 19, 2016. On the last night of the Year of Mercy, Nightfever NYC will be hosting this night of praise, worship and reconciliation at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral (50th Street and 5th Avenue). We will have the opportunity to pray before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament as well as light candles to honor Our Lord. The evening of music and prayer will start at 7pm and end at 9pm. Confessions will be heard throughout the night. Come and be a part of this night, where the Cathedral will be have its doors open to all New Yorkers so they can come, pray, and love the Lord. Spirituality Seminar Series Church of St. Joseph

The next seminar of the season will be on Friday, November 18, 2016. The seminar leader will be Fr. Larry Lewis. The presentation is entitled:

Mercy: Entering the Chaos of Another

Fr. James Keenan, SJ defines mercy as "entering the chaos of another person." We will discuss God entering our chaos through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. And how we are invited to enter the chaos of one another as we walk along toward the Kingdom.

Fr. Larry Lewis is a Maryknoll priest who has often celebrated the Eucharist with us at St. Joseph’s Church. Fr. Larry is an experienced retreat director. For several years he coordinated a training program in the United States for China’s priests and Sisters who want to better serve their people. Currently Fr. Larry is a member of the Ministry Staff at the Cenacle Sisters Retreat Center in Ronkonkoma, NY

The seminar will begin with the 9:00 AM Mass in the daily Mass chapel; it continues in the Parish Center with a continental breakfast and the presentation followed by lunch.

Pre-registration is helpful in planning for each session, in order to provide for the appropriate number of lunch-es. The cost for the session is $12. Please complete the following registration form and return it to the Parish Office before Nov. 15, 2016.
