The Screen Actors Guild Awards®, which made its debut in 1995, has become one of the industry’s most
prized honors, as the only televised awards shows to celebrate performers exclusively, the SAG Awards
financially supports the crucial work of the SAG Foundation through major contributions.

SAG-AFTRA represents approximately 160,000 actors, announcers, recording artists,
broadcast journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers and editors,
program hosts, singers, stunt performers, voiceover artists and other
MEDIA PROFESSIONALS - the faces and voices that
ENTERTAIN and INFORM America and the world. The SAG Foundation
serves these union members with critical support programs.
The SCREEN ACTORS GUILD FOUNDATION is an EDUCATIONAL,
HUMANITARIAN and PHILANTHROPIC organization which has been
giving back quietly for 30 years.

Through the non-profit SAG FOUNDATION, those at the
top of their field are able to assist others on their way up or
in need, as well as the community at large.
The SAG FOUNDATION envisions a world where all artists
can realize their dreams, and children are empowered to
create their own.

Every week leading ACTORS explore the process and
profession of acting with an audience of fellow performers.
CONVERSATIONS include SCREENINGS of film and
television shows, discussions and Q&As with casts and
principals, and CAREER retrospectives with the
LEGENDARY actors of our time.
Participants include 194 SAG AWARDS winners, 129
ACADEMY AWARD nominees and 52 winners.
CONVERSATIONS are RECORDED and preserved in the
SAG Foundation ACTORS ARCHIVE – the LARGEST
collection of actor’s career retrospectives in the world –
and are available online.

The Business PANELS, CLASSES,
WORSHOPS and SEMINARS provide

PRODUCERS, CASTING DIRECTORS and
industry experts helping performers
understand and navigate the EVOLVING
industry landscape.
The valuable programs are RECORDED, live

FREE CHILDRENS LITERACY PROGRAMS reach over
60,000 children in person and over 65 million across the
world. these groundbreaking programs give SAG-AFTRA
members the opportunity to use their talents and give back
to the community.

5.7 MILLION visits per month in 228 COUNTRIES &
territories, with 65+ MILLION unique visitors to date. The
service and activity guides are FREE, with NO ADS and

EVERY MONTH 2,200 SAG Foundation
BOOKPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy
in Schools) visit at-risk public schools,
hospitals, libraries and social service
agencies and read aloud to OVER 60,000
CHILDREN nationwide.
The signature program provides the
opportunity for PERFORMERS, gifted in
the art of storytelling, to help develop a
LOVE of READING, one of the best
predictors of children’s future SUCCESS.

The ACTORS CENTER LOS ANGELES at
5757 Wilshire Blvd includes a 120-seat digital
screening room, industry library, lounge, and
leading edge computer and voiceover labs.
FREE CLASSES and WORKSHOPS are held
every week.
ACTORS CENTER LA THE BUSINESS, CONVERSATIONS and SCREENINGS,
classes, labs and workshops bring tens of thousands of
SAG-AFTRA members a year to SAG Foundation’s
ACTORS CENTER LA.

PHASE I NEW YORK ACTORS CENTER NOW OPEN at
1900 Broadway includes classroom, on-camera lab,
computer lab, and EIF Voiceover Lab, presenting 500
FREE workshops, classes, and panels in NYC so far.
PHASE II OPENING SPRING 2016 – 4,000 sq ft
dedicated performance and educational space plus
153-seat state-of-the-art screening room at 247 West
54th St and 8th Avenue. In the past few years SAG
Foundation has quadrupled its FREE, educational
programming in New York.

On NOVEMBER 5, 2015, the SAG FOUNDATION will celebrate 30 YEARS of giving back to
the family of performers and to their communities, with the 30th Anniversary Awards Gala at
the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
30TH ANNIVERSARY

On NOVEMBER 5 2015, 30 years of exceptional
support will be marked with an AWARDS GALA
and ENTERTAINMENT at the stunning new THE
WALLIS Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts
in BEVERLY HILLS.
500 GUESTS will enter “The Wallis” through the HISTORIC
original Beverly Hills Post Office and arrive for a SEATED
SHOW in the new state-of-the-art theater, where celebrated
performers will present AWARDS to renowned Patrons of
the Artists. The once-in-a-lifetime entertainment will feature
LEGENDARY ACTORS in very UNEXPECTED
PERFORMANCES and memorable duos.

VIP GUESTS will then join CELEBRITIES at the VIP AFTER-
PARTY in The Wallis’ private garden area. With the entire
evening produced by the VP of Production of the Grammy
Awards, the 30th ANNIVERSARY GALA will be entertaining,
high profile, noteworthy and fun. Plans are to develop an
annual signature event.
