Toacclimateyourselftohigherlevelsoffeltrecoil,considerthefollowing: •Useafirmtwo-handholdonthegripwhenfiring. •Alwaysstartyourshootingexperiencewiththelowestbullet velocityandlowestbulletweightavailableforyourfirearm. •Askyourfirearmdealertosuggestthelowestpower, lowestvelocity,lightestbulletweightforyourfirearm.

AMMUNITION SELECTION FOR LIGHTWEIGHT REvOLvERS

•Beforeplacingreducedweightrevolversintoservice,performthefollowingtesttodeterminethesuitabilityoftheammunitionyouintendtouse.

•Atagunrangeorothersuitableandsafelocation,prepareyourrevolverforfiringbyfullyloadingitscylinderwiththeammuni-tiontobetested.Whilepointingthefirearminasafedirection,fire4ofthefiveroundsinthecylinder.Removethefouremptycasingsandtheremainingloadedroundfromtherevolver’scyl-inder.Carefullyinspecttheloadedroundthatyoujustremovedfromthecylindertodetermineifthebullethasstartedtounseat(moveforward)fromitscasing(FIGURE2).Ifithas,youshouldnotusethetestedammunitioninyourrevolver.ChooseanotherprojectileweightorbrandofammunitionandrepeatthistestuntilyoufindonethatDOESNOTUNSEATunderthesetestconditions.

•CrimsonTraceCorporation(CTC)warrantsthattheLX-381LaserproductontheM&P®BODYGUARD®38Revolverwillbefreefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipforaperiodoftwelve(12)monthsfromthedateofpurchasebytheoriginalowner.Atitssolediscretion,CTCwilleitherrepairorreplace,atnocharge,anyLX-381Laserproductorpart(withtheexceptionofthebatteries)whichisfoundtobedefective,undernormaluseandservice,duringthewarrantyperiod.CTC’sobliga-tiontoeitherrepairorreplaceshallbetheowner’ssoleandexclusiveremedyunderthiswarranty.Thiswarrantydoesnotcovernormalmaintenanceandserviceanddoesnotapplytoanyproductsorpartsthathavebeensubjecttomodification,misuse,carelessness,accident,impropermaintenanceorrepairotherthanbyCTC.
